Yes, please. I only want to disable Windows Defender temporarily - for a few minutes at most - to speed up certain tasks, like software installation, updates, and even file transfers. Otherwise in Windows 11 Defender hogs too much CPU and slows everything down to a crawl.
Meh, I'd take all or nothing. I want Defender gone safely enough to not have to worry about WU or sfc complaining about missing components, and if I disable it, I have no intent on re-enabling it.
A great 22000.xxx defender tweak by st1ckys on his stuff github repo. Its not to be directly applied blindly but pro can easily understand to edit it & create a permanently disable defender bat script via those LGP reg edits. Credits to St1ckys.
