Does anyone else have this CPU utilization bug? Was not present in the vanilla Win11. Task Manager is able to see the real CPU usage, but a number of 3rd party apps no longer can, procexp, HWiNFO64 and MSI Afterburner among them. This is how it looks with a prime95 load, 100% on all cores. Would appreciate if any of you takes a look, thanks.
@Enthousiast Is there a file to force a 22h2 update like the one you provided me in the past here https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...1-22h2-vb_release.80763/page-450#post-1714282 That I used to force the update from Windows 10 21h1 to 21h2?
Yeah it's all up to date. Seems to be related to in-game or GPU usage, not yet fully understanding the bug, but it's not happening all the time. It does happen in games and if there's some 3D stuff on the background. If I just run p95 after boot or after exiting games all seems fine. Gonna do some more digging tomorrow.
I'm having the same problem (the error code sometimes changes after refreshing Edge like before), this time in 22H2 (previously it was in 21H2). It looks like Microsoft Defender Antivirus detects some registry keys as infected and they might be related to NTLite policies to disable Windows Security I set. Weird. Also, I wasn't having this problem until Windows Security was automatically reinstalled after installing a CU via Windows Update. Do you think it's a false positive again? Even so, nothing happens when I restore those registry keys and maybe files too from the quarantine. I guess even if this supposed Microsoft Defender Antivirus problem is fixed I'll still have this Edge update problem since apparently some of its files were deleted and I can't recover them, not to mention NTLite has a feature (Remove Reinstalls) which deletes returned components (like Windows Security) after a CU is installed, and so it would be even harder to recover those Edge files if I used it. EDIT: After restarting the PC, Windows Security is gone and I didn't even use the previously mentioned NTLite feature. I'm not having the Edge update problem too. Weird.
after updating to the latest 22622.601, the notepad is not working suddenly, tried uninstalling & reinstalling via Win Store, but still the same issue, every time trying to open any text file or the notepad app, this error popped up, anyone facing /faced this same? Any workaround?
I saw that error when I disabled Distributed Link Tracking Client service, it can be normally disabled, but when you have upgraded, it might have affected links.
