Can someone please export from his Task Scheduler the metadata refresh task and send it? I deleted it for debugging and forgot to export... Go to \Microsoft\Windows\Device Setup\Metadata Refresh right click export.
Hi guys, I was on the windows 11 insider program. My PC is to old to meet the hardware requirements. Is there a way for me to disable the checks or update to retail? I don't want to do a clean install.
The new Teams Apps gets installed into UWP store Apps location and uses Edge WebView to work Yes PWA term can be removed, will update the info.
Have a look here :https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/win-11-boot-and-upgrade-fix-kit-v2-0.83724/
Is it safe to install windows 11 on an i7 , 7th generation intel laptop running windows 10 , bypassing the pchealth check using the "Win_11_Boot_And_Upgrade_FiX_KiT_v2.0 " option #2 ... will it safely upgrade windows 10 to windows 11 ... ? are their any HALTS and BSOD associated with windows 11 if we force its install on a 7th generation processor.
Everything should install and run fine, but you might not receive automatic updates in the future, and you might run into incompatibility issues in the future.
Well this is not good then to upgrade a genuine windows 10 installation to windows 11 , with 7th generation processor. is this all being done so that ppl should buy more intel/amd processors !
It appears that Microsoft plans on using certain hardware features that only supported systems are capable of doing without significant slowdowns, if at all. For now, there doesn't appear to be an issue installing Windows 11 on an unsupported system, but that might change with a future update. Microsoft's communication about all this has been really bad, and we don't know for sure what's going on.
The Chat icon you see in the Taskbar is just a stub for Teams installer, when you click on it will download and install the Teams App.
