I am a great Enthusiast of windows since 1994 , when i started working with microsoft windows for work groups 3.11 with the passage of time MS Windows have made a lot of progress , but believe me stability in windows has only started to come from windows 8 onwards... by now windows 10 is going good with its latest version 21H1 , Windows 11 is always good to have but the issue is that you cannot have an unstable system on your production devices , so if you have a spare PC or you can try it in a VM you should be good , but right now using Windows 11 as your main stream WORK PC for production will be a Big RISK and i would never recommend it .... Conclusion: Want to give a try ....Install windows 11 as a fresh install in dual boot form , or use it on a separate PC , or use it in a VM. Don't use windows 11 on your main stream production PC , as it is still a lot buggy and it will take time for it to be stable in a year or so...!! MDL: Guys here are doing a great job ,and i would say a better job than Microsoft techies , in finding solutions and helping people out in whatever situation they are, which is Great !!
I think you should say in first place: "in my opinion" before recommend do not use of win 11, here on MDL there are lots of people who has been using it since the first "leaked ISO" with no issues, so, no. win 11 is not unstable to use as main PC... another thing, based on what you are predicting "it will take time for it to be stable in a year or so" ?
All new 22000.282 updates: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/windows-11-hotfix-repository.83741/page-16#post-1698985
yep, just upgraded my unsupported system to 22000.282 thru normal Windows Updates. All good no problems.
well new upgrade has a bug, For me EDGE now loses some mouse functions on the bottom of the screen. I have to scroll down to access things like links and video pause buttons etc. Its like the bottom 1/4 of the screen loses its functions. Not on all pages, Youtube, this page currently has the problem. EDIT - Yep, definite "problem". Bottom say 1/4 of screen on the left side loses everything with the mouse, on numerous pages (no highlighting or linking). Its not critical, just annoying. SOLVED by simply scrolling the page down a bit to bring the bottom of the screen higher, and it all works again.
Keep looking for patches , it will take time ...there are still many issues to be solved in windows 11.
Don't have an AMD CPU but curious did today's update fix performance bug completely, is performance same as W10 now?
Well this is just plain weird - my Glitch from the 22000.282 CU that I had all day (even after restarts), has disappeared today. Start the laptop this morning, and all working perfectly. Dont know why, and dont care, just happy the system somehow sorted out the problem.
