Did the official update change the build number?

in Winver mine is showing Version 6.3 (build 9600) I can't remember what is was for win 8.1 prior to the update.

 

I see that it has been changed again since the packages released on MSDN and TechNet.

KB2949621-v2 - removed (1MB)
KB2934018 - added (126MB)

But i need to ask .i will start to integrade update into w81iso.also i want to integrade LP files.is there an Update 1 LP file or can i use the old one?

after installing KB2934018 IE11 is still same 17.031 upd 11.07 build lab ex 9600.17041.x86fre.winblue_gdr.140305-1710 build lab 9600.winblue_gdr.140305-1710 i think that this 1710 is new

 

The reason I am asking is that a couple of programs that worked fine with 8.1 now give me an error message not for this version.

 

for me everything works ok which programs not works ?

It is the ASRock F-Stream Tuning, it worked fine after installed win 8.1 update, however once I installed the further updates from windows update, I now get an error message popup 'This Utility is not for this platform"

 

The New Update Package KB2934018 is a Feature Pack Update, so again the Whole process is changed

 

what about LP files to integrade? use old ones or is there any iupdated ones? sorry to ask again im on integrade mode

 

I installed the 4 WZor leaked updates all that time ago, then I installed KB2949621-v2 and KB2938439 a couple days ago

Now I just installed KB2934018 on top of everything and my build number is 9600.17041.amd64fre.winblue_gdr.140305-1710

 

You can remove KB2949621, it's superseded by KB2934018

ok KB2949621 its quick repair so it is uninstalled ok

 

Technically it's April's Rollup update (since KB2919355 is signed in March), so it includes the fixes/updates after KB2919355

 

Two changes in W8-1-1

When I have compared W8-1-1 update files b17031 "released" here some time before and actual b17031 files, what will be offered today at 20:00 CET (my time), here are two changes:

KB2939087 - Preparation package, what was part of already released files will no longer be offered.
KB2949621-v2 - Support package is new one for W2012R2 and some other special systems.

Are there any more information about these changes?

 

Ok so quick question. Will there be a new start menu (classic/metro hybrid)? I have been reading online about this new start menu yet I dont have it with WZOR's updates.
