    Installed the Windows 8.1 RTM with Windows 8.1 Update 1 Updates Included and ran Windows Update, just only four Updates were shown :


    Security Update for Internet Explorer Flash Player for Windows 8.1 (KB2916626)
    Update for Microsoft Camera Codec Pack for Windows 8.1 (KB2899189)
    Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool for Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 - February 2014 (KB890830)
    Microsoft Silverlight (KB2636927)

    I had the same problem,free some space in the C:\ Drive (Windows)
    The update require up to 5GB (or more i dont know i have 10GB free space in c: now )free Space for installation process

    oh thats alot of free space , the update need just about 5gb , okay try this
    Run the System File Checker tool (SFC.exe)

    Run the System File Checker tool (SFC.exe). To do this, follow these steps:
    1. Open an administrative Command Prompt window.
    2. At the command prompt, type sfc /scannow, and then press Enter.
    3. After the scan is finished, try to install updates again.

    Edit: and install the updates in the correct order

    excuse my ignorance, was that the 8.1 that leaked without the ga updates? or the iso with the ga updates?
