how many free space do you have?

 

wondering why x64 is so small. Expected some 700+ size

 

You probably don't have enough free space on your HDD, try freeing up some more space

 

Installed the Windows 8.1 RTM with Windows 8.1 Update 1 Updates Included and ran Windows Update, just only four Updates were shown :


Security Update for Internet Explorer Flash Player for Windows 8.1 (KB2916626)
Update for Microsoft Camera Codec Pack for Windows 8.1 (KB2899189)
Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool for Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 - February 2014 (KB890830)
Microsoft Silverlight (KB2636927)

 

I had the same problem,free some space in the C:\ Drive (Windows)
The update require up to 5GB (or more i dont know i have 10GB free space in c: now )free Space for installation process

Does your installer reboots after each package installation or it installs together everything?

 

oh thats alot of free space , the update need just about 5gb , okay try this
Run the System File Checker tool (SFC.exe)

Run the System File Checker tool (SFC.exe). To do this, follow these steps:

1. Open an administrative Command Prompt window.
2. At the command prompt, type sfc /scannow, and then press Enter.
3. After the scan is finished, try to install updates again.

excuse my ignorance, was that the 8.1 that leaked without the ga updates? or the iso with the ga updates?

I activate windows with Skype

Do you think MS has blocked some of the keys that were used from the Skype way of activating?
