    As it can be seen on the screenshot, you do use some KMS emulator or (highly unlikely) are connected with a real KMS server.

    @Tito...

    I do not installed any KMS... no idea, why a REAL public KMS Server was found :-(

    There must be one somewhere in the system, as it was only recently renewed (still shows 180 days which is the highest possible value for that product and SKU).

    You can check the Task Scheduler, the tasks responsible for renewal will show you the path to AutoKMS.exe.

    i think buddy above got some high value ransomware installed on his system except it is reverse ransomware that installed ms toolkit allowing him to use server 2016 perpetually unbeknownst to him :) he should thank the tool creators and not complain about why it is there like some virus :) as all tool creators mention if he likes what he sees in his perpetual trial/evaluation period he should purchase the appropriate license from microsoft to use ( legal disclaimer i must add of course :)

    Thanks.. I found it somewhere a couple weeks ago and I coudln't remember where...it was the reddit post you referred to.

    Just mentioned it, as a couple pages back someone was asking about seeing the hash valuses on the MSDN subscriber downloads
