So, there will be a new android app fileformat norm (AAB instead of APK). "Android App Bundle" M$ will 1st focus on the amazon app store, to be able to use apps in the WSA frontend. (which currently shows just a black/white screen as there is no working amazon app store for win11) amazon will make it optional and allow AAB and APK in the future. Xbox Android support will be delayed or might never arrive. M$ advices 16GB of RAM. Only some benchmarks popped up yet. Move along, there is nothing to see here.
WSA slightly grew by 100kb. Version still 1.7.163 Amazon store is indeed a nice 25 megabyte download and 1.4mb placeholder... ;P
Not much to see in the installed product either. Graphics are just white. Repairing and Resetting the App doesnt fix that... ;D
thats only a little better than the current fastest android chip, the qualcomm 888, which is good, but not great could be faster on better cpus?
yeah, it's actually decent compared to 3rd party android emulator. Some hitting 1.2k at single core which is almost equal to apple's A13 or so. would be great if there's good 3D acceleration.
