Wondering why it had happened in the first place.

 

It appears you may have used Media Creation Tool to download the files & it stores them on the partition as ESD as it uses those files to create the iso image that u then put on a usb drive or a dvd
But it seems you downloaded the files then went through the process
but once deleted you will gain some space back on that partition

anyone know why esd and iso have different version name?

 

MDL is really going down hill. This has been answered many times already. 1804 is the TIME STAMP, has NOTHING to do with version.

 

You can't expect everyone to see the few posts on the issue of thousands of posts in this forum.

But if you want to act like an elitist that knows better than everyone else then it's your right I guess.

 

This type of thing always happens when different types of people "meet" over the same subject. When one type considers it a passion and follows the news/changes almost religiously, and another is jumping in once every few months when there's some big event that they want to know more about. Seen it in gaming, sports, pretty much everywhere. People just can't wrap their head around others not considering their own hobby significant.

You can still use search and browse the forums though before asking, at the very least.

 

the esd build timestamp it was 18:04, if the build time is going to 18:09, what do you think?

First of all thank you for answering my question.
Now what do you expect me to do, read all the 2000 post to find an answer before i ask a question? and just fyi, i've used the search function with some different keywords and didnt find anything useful related to my question.

To be honest, the search function in this forum doesn't work very well at all.

I love this forum and am not knocking it, I've learned so much here, but it's really hard to find much of anything you want through the search.

But i don't think it's a good idea to mention MDL in your iso uploads to TPB
