What tools did you use to download and create the iso? And what is the used method to check the iso with dism?
i just created iso running script by uup.rg-adguard site and check later with command dism /Get-WimInfo /WimFile edit: i extract iso again and check again and now shows me like 17134 haha so weird
To change my Windows install media from Professional to Enterprise I make D:\Mount and D:\Mount\BootWIM folders. This works as my image in my install media is only Windows Professional. When I run: Code: C:\Windows\system32>Dism /Get-ImageInfo /ImageFile:G:\sources\install.wim Deployment Image Servicing and Management tool Version: 10.0.17134.1 Details for image : G:\sources\install.wim Index : 1 Name : Windows 10 Pro Description : Windows 10 Pro Size : 16,074,504,723 bytes The operation completed successfully. It says my image name is Windows 10 Pro. When I run what Microsoft suggest I do to mount the image to change the edition I get: Code: C:\Windows\system32>Dism /Mount-Image /ImageFile:G:\sources\install.wim /Name:Windows_10_Pro /MountDir:D:\Mount\BootWIM Deployment Image Servicing and Management tool Version: 10.0.17134.1 Error: 0xc1560111 The specified image does not exist in the specified image container. Check the image container first for existing images. The DISM log file can be found at C:\Windows\Logs\DISM\dism.log I can mount the image by the Index and change the edition but isn't the way Microsoft says to do it. I wanted to share how I changed the edition of my install media but want to be 100% sure I'm not giving wrong info. Can you help, Enthusiast? And how do I stop it changing the code to smilies in posts?
ME had really bad troubles managing memory. After all it's driver troubles, XP SP3 became a solid OS. Vista was a 7 not ready for prime time.
Every Windows OS did up until at least XP. That is why I had a program which restarted my computer in the middle of the night. Like I said, if you knew what you were doing, it was solid as a rock. I also had several tools on a floppy, and cleaned the registry once a week, along with defragging. I never had any problems. It just worked.
Thanks for this summary! I am new to all this UUP stuff, but this helps! Enthousiast: >> Just for your information, with 17134.1 it's just a matter of inserting the enterprise key after installing pro and there will be a full license switch to enterprise performed. >> I am on Win 10 Pro x64. So does this mean I need to create and then install the 17134.1 ISO **FOR PRO** using the methods described, then I enter the generic Enterprise key, and my Win is switched to Enterprise? Or do I need to create the ISO for Enterprise? (I am reading it as I need to make the 17134.1 *PRO* ISO, but I want to double check). Thanks!
thanks!! Edit: The entire procedure, incl. downloading and then creating the ISO only took 5mins. I expected it much longer, so not much time for a walk Edit: Make sure to extract the contents of the uucp converter INTO the uupdl-master folder on C:
You either open Explorer during process, or you AV program prevent unmounting try to turn it off temporary, or exclude C:\MountUUP
