Strange, with 17134 Groove Music and Movies and TV app reappear later after being uninstalled from the profile in use (via ccleaner). Even 17133 seems to have added them back on upgrade, but I can't remember if they kept being reinstalled later in the same way as with this build. Edit: I'll try now with Get-AppxPackage *Microsoft.ZuneMusic* | Remove-AppxPackage Get-AppxPackage *Microsoft.ZuneVideo* | Remove-AppxPackage to see what happens.
I have this feeling... Microsoft is gonna release tomorrow, because Ubuntu is also releasing tomorrow.
How can I mark partition active(new unpartitioned hard disk) when I can not boot with the installation media? I am talking about copying Windows files into FAT32 formatted USB for Windows setup on a legacy system.
I am quite aware of that. We are discussing on the method of just copying Windows 10 mounted ISO files to FAT32 formatted USB to do clean Windows 10 setup in a legacy system.
cmd as admin diskpart lis dis sel dis x cle cre par pri act format fs=fat32 quick assign det dis exit bootsect /nt60 y: where x is the drive to clean & format & y: is the new volume created saludos from spain
No need for that, just format it FAT32 (just one partition) and extract the iso to it's root. No need for diskpart or active partitions, just make sure the largest file on the iso is under 4GB.
Is this the same build that fast/slow/release ring? Do I need to install again to get updates in the future?
This is an old debate. Just made the following tests on a legacy MBR PC : 1. Format usb stick (fat32 or ntfs), copy the iso to it's root (the partition was active) : boot from usb stick ok 2. Set the partition of the usb stick inactive (i used partitionwizard) : not booting from usb stick 3. Set the partion of the usb stick active : boot from usb stick ok Remark : in a gpte/environment fat32 is mandatory, but the partition of the usb stick doesn't need to be set active
