As with every CU they would have revoked it by now if any general problems would have appeared. Still there is always a slight chance something breaks not only on 1803.
If I install it would I run into a issue since it was pushed to Windows Insiders, Will it turn my Windows 10 Enterprise to a Insider edition? or mess up settings with the Managed with Windows Insiders messages?
Tried to install (upgrade) 17134.1 Windows 10 on my other PC, but it failed. It restored Windows, and I got this error message: I checked the option to install Windows update after upgrade, I wonder if refusing it will fix this. I hope I won't need to perform a clean installation :/
This build is RTM, the fact it was released to Insiders first doesn't change that fact. The CU also won't change the RTM status.
unfortunately this major update removes the kb4090007 which was released as optional by MS, therefore losing the spectre protection given by the uCode update. Hope MS restores that or includes uCode updates in future April updates (such as 17134.5 for instance)
Received update ia wu was on 1709(OS Build 16299.402) Now after update & restart on 1803(OS Build 17134.1) Then Check via WU & Came Up You`re up to date So was not offered KB4135051 To Take the Build up to 17134.5
?????? If you were on 1709 and now on 1803, you got a full upgrade, and if you were in the IP rings you would have been offered the 17134.5 CU. I've seen more people post that they got 1803 offered on WU without being signed in at the IP apps, can someone confirm this by showing all the proof?
@Enthousiast they didn't or at least they didn't in this .1 version. I read that some users (insiders probably) got their uCode update in .4 version. Hoping that in .5 update that ms will make available in the near future restores that protection.

The choice is yours but too be safe if its your main system I would wait because if the system needs it, It will come through WU
If I was an insider It would say so and not stay Get Started? I am sure there would be other information on the tab like Ring Choise, ect. (That is if I was signed into or a Windows insider user)
