A little math: Firefox + Chrome Extentions - Google spying = Firefox 57 You will be able to use chrome extensions in Firefox 57 because Firefox 57 is using the Chromium framework, just like Opera Browser. One could argue then that Chrome technically won, however, if you would rather not have all the hidden spying Google adds into their browser, you may want to give Firefox 57 a try.

It's the first setting that'll completely disable it. It would be "media.peerconnection.enabled" in about:config.

"When viewing the plugins dashboard click on the settings tab and look under "Privacy"." THere is no Privacy at the settings... maybe because I am using ESR 52.3 ? The updates tab is there... More important: Last night I had the time to test it with 32 tabs... and it NEVER ONCE froze.. So, thank you so much for your help. It is really great to get exactly the questions answered, that one asks.
I was going to mention that those settings were in uBlock origin not firefox. To find it, click the uBlock icon. The popup window will open. Right below the big blue button are 4 icons. The right-most one will open the dashboard. (Hover the mouse over the icon to see the hint come up.) You'll see the settings that Daz is talking about. I hope this helps.
I had uBlock non-Origin installed and was wondering likewise. Then Daz screenshot gave the hint he was referring to the Origin fork. After switching to it i found the settings.
