very true; big ships have diesel engines as big as a house.but the interesting thing here, is if we think that global warming is caused by mankind lbehaving ike the pest that it is; not by whatever mr. trump thinks.
That's either immature or utterly unreasonable... and that's me being kind... You have no idea what "leading role" means, then... Esp. given that "we" in the West did the most damage, from the beginning of the industrial era... Back to the drawing board for you...
I know and you are right. My reply was related to reducing CO2 level! I did not say that nations with industry do not have a leading role. Anything that has to do with pollution and exploiting of the nature. The reasoning works without arguing on CO2, though. Industry needs energy and resources. And Industry produces waste. Waste during production and later when the product / packaging has 'no use' anymore. Fossile fuels and resources are limited. A transition to alternatives is inevitable also to re-use / recycle materials.
Be mindful of how you use energy in your daily life, it starts with us changing to become more environmentally friendly. Personal actions can make a difference in reducing our environmental impact. Being mindful of energy habits is a great start, and you save both our Earth and your wallet. Simple actions like turning off lights when not in use, unplugging electronics, and using energy-efficient appliances can help save energy and reduce emissions. Additionally, using renewable energy sources when possible, reducing waste, making sustainable transportation choices, and raising awareness and advocating for policies that promote responsible practices on a larger scale are other ways to contribute to environmental protection. It's worth noting that both private jets and the shipping industry are significant contributors to greenhouse gas emissions. Addressing these issues will require a collective effort from individuals, organizations, and governments to prioritize sustainability and reduce our environmental footprint. Remember, every little action counts, and collectively, we can make a big difference in preserving our planet for future generations.

As we focus on reducing our environmental impact, I want to share a story about my father, a diesel engine owner, that illustrates the power of individual actions. He has been experimenting with sustainable practices for years, particularly by using cooking oil as a biodiesel blend in his old diesel engine, where he safely mixed it with traditional diesel fuel. By collecting and filtering used cooking oil, he reduced his reliance on fossil fuels and lowered his carbon emissions, all while saving money. His story emphasizes how small, everyday actions can lead to positive change. Whether it’s using public transport, conserving energy, or finding ways to recycle, we all have the power to make a difference. My two cents.
It certainly helps - but if we do not see beyond the trees, we won't see the forest and we shall lose the war!!!
war. disgusting.no war was declared.as far as i know. i`ve said it before, and i say it again; better think twice before you declare war on the world.
Since 10K years ago, when we invented agriculture ==> large scale ecocide... Of course, since you're the Master of the Universe, I don't need to explain what it is, as you know everything...
Is Global Warming man made or a natural cycle ? "Global Warming" may be NOT an issue at all. Winter is getting colder. requests more fuel in winter.
He says confidently after the warmest January on record, since the industrial revolution... Honestly, you can't make this sh1te up... https://news.un.org/en/story/2025/02/1159846 https://news.mongabay.com/short-article/january-2025-was-warmest-on-record/ https://www.climatecentre.org/13336/world-had-warmest-january-on-record/
it's funny, i saw a review, he ask her you care from global warming, sure. you fly private plan, yes. that say all.
I believe in global warming and climate science. But I'm not entirely into the virtue signaling about reducing footprints. I have issue with power-saving tech in computers big time. The premise is to slow down my hardware, to save power, and make that invisible. Windows 95 until today Windows 10/11 and even Linux I haven't seen the invisible part, and mysterious issues (like PCI-E stuff throwing errors or disappearing on Linux, disks suspending slightly-out-of-spec with I/O errors) aren't a thing when telling devices that aren't removable or (seemingly) intended to run low-power to just run without software limits (aka, let the hardware do its thing). Basically, software-side power-saving tech any OS sucks. My i5-8400H is a 45W mobile CPU. 45W isn't even a drop compared to my microwave, probably a refrigerator kicking on, or HVAC. Running that CPU as-intended with C-states on hyperthreading is notably worse performance. Disabled C-states, Ultimate Performance profile, and my CPU is snappy, along with barely using more power on-average. A laptop's hardware is all already power-efficient, why would I get behind an agenda to slow my stuff down with rusty software code for others probably signaling for clout from 5 screens on Instagram/TickTok? Plus it's a bit hypocritical for big-businesses to be advertising their enforced lower consumption policies to their consumers while the CEOs are flying around on jets conveniently
