As I said, it's Tesla's ideas, allegedly used against Tesla's intentions, what else - by the military/Gov, to "gain yet more control", since it's all/we're all at a permanent state of war"....

It makes sense, as far as US military "thinking" is concerned (and allegedly the Russians and the Chinese are having one of these installations as well). Apparently, the "conspiracy theorists" claim the "toxic s**t sprayed on us from planes" is in those areas of the world, the get the atmosphere more easily manipulated by HAARP devices etc. etc.

However, for many of those "theoreticians" this is just a non-obliging way of gaining "fame and fortune" without much effort, since scrutiny is not possible in the academic sense of the word...

Lots of blah-blah for nothing at the moment, although legitimate Qs have to be put out re. the spraying from the air and black ops programmes of the US and other military and "intelligence" forces etc. etc.

Ice age chicken and egg: Did warming or carbon dioxide rise come first

    by Scott K. Johnson

    Frédéric Parrenin

Ice cores have certainly done their share for climate science, but nobody’s perfect. While they contain wildly useful samples of ancient air and proxy records of temperature, linking the two together is harder than you might expect. Once you get down to fine-scale questions of timing, that difficulty becomes important.
Several studies that have looked at the start of the warming out of the last ice age have concluded that the temperature began to rise several centuries before carbon dioxide increased. This week, a new study in Science shows that may not be the case.
The complications arise from the way that air is trapped in ice. The ice, of course, forms from snow compressed by the weight of the snow on top of it. Above the ice, then, it’s possible for air to move between the bits of snow (or partially compacted “firn”). So while this year’s snow (from which temperature is determined) is found at the surface, it won't be encapsulated as much as 100 meters below. That means that when you analyze a layer from an ice core, the age of the ice and the age of the air bubbles are offset. If we want to know whether temperature rose before CO2, we have to know which layer of ice corresponds to which layer of air bubbles.
This has typically been estimated with the use of a “firn densification model.” Given parameters like the proxy measurements of temperature and the snow accumulation rate (from the layer thicknesses), the model calculates the depth at which the firn would have turned into ice—the depth at which the air would have been locked in. But there’s another way of extracting that information from the ice core more directly. Beyond a certain depth, the air is isolated from the effects of wind at the surface. In this stagnant zone, the air mainly moves by simple molecular diffusion.
Of the nitrogen gas that makes up about 78 percent of the atmosphere, some molecules contain atoms of nitrogen-14’s heavier brother, nitrogen-15. Simply because of gravity, the heavier nitrogen-15 will be over-represented near the bottom of the diffusion zone and therefore also in this ice. The thicker the diffusion zone, the more prevalent nitrogen-15 will be. (You can think of a footrace between a fast and slow person—the longer the sprint, the greater the fast person’s lead at the finish.)
So by measuring the ratio of nitrogen isotopes in the air bubbles, glaciologists can infer how big the offset between contemporaneous ice and air must have been.
Using this technique, a group of European researchers analyzed the timing of events at the end of the last ice age in the EPICA Dome C ice core from Antarctica. The original study that examined the record of carbon dioxide in this core put the start of the warming 800±600 years before the rise in carbon dioxide 18,000 years ago. Using the new age scale, however, the new study sees the change in CO2 leading by a statistically insignificant 10±160 years. In other words, as near we can determine, they happened at the same time.
The study also looked at three prominent wiggles in the 8,000 years that followed. They largely showed the same behavior—with CO2 and temperature changing at about the same time—though temperature appeared to lead by at least several decades in one instance.
In a related perspective, Oregon State’s Edward Brook writes, “In many ways, these results are not surprising, given the coupled nature of the carbon cycle and climate and the fact that oceanic processes around Antarctica probably play a key role in glacial-interglacial CO2 dynamics. They are important, however, because they improve our understanding of when CO2 changed with respect to temperature in the ice core record.”
It wasn’t really puzzling when we originally found that CO2 might have followed temperature by several centuries. The overall pacing of the ice ages is clearly controlled by cycles in Earth’s orbit, with the effects of the resulting changes in sunlight being amplified by greenhouse gases, among other factors. (Many smaller scale events, of course, were driven by things like ocean circulation changes, volcanic eruptions, and solar variation.) At the same time, it’s not a shock to learn that the two were more synchronized.
But the new information is still helpful. Knowing how long it took for the carbon cycle to respond can help researchers examine the processes that allowed it to respond. Current models focus on diminishing sea ice, which allowed CO2 to vent from the Southern Ocean, along with changes in ocean circulation.
When we figure out why things happened the way they did, we gain an understanding of how the climate system works. As that picture comes into sharper focus, we discover what we can expect to happen in the future—depending, of course, on the choices we make.

A Cheap and Easy Plan to Stop Global Warming

Intentionally engineering Earth’s atmosphere to offset rising temperatures could be far more doable than you imagine, says David Keith. But is it a good idea?

    Sulphuric Acid !?!

Personally, I'd rather see carbon dioxide scrubbers built on earth than to inject H2SO4 into the atmosphere.
The consequences for global agriculture may very well be devestating.

We'd then open the door for Monsanto and their ilk to genetically engineer crops to withstand the extra sulphur in the ground water and soil.

I shudder to think of the world that we'll end up leaving our offspring. :(

My 2 cents about Chemtrails:

Chemtrails are a fairy-tale to make money out of the people which don't have self-esteem and confidence.

Today most people have a self-alienated view of what they are and what the world is and what is their purpose of life.
Religions and their institutions fail to be central figure, so people are actually without ‘spiritual guidance’ and belief. The intellectual people of them have the possibility to use science as a replacement, or Philosophy…

The ones who are left can be fools, which are always victim of the same mechanism. So to say they belive anything what they are told.

The ‘brown’ mechanism: It’s a bad mechanism of an ego which appears in the world with different garments, as different events with the same Psychology.

I call it brown, because the color of the NSDAP , once the party of Adolf Hitler had been brown.
(The brown house had been the party headquarters of the NSDAP)

The rhetoric and psychology, the brown mechanism is the same as it had been before.

Goal is always to gain adherents which are easily controllable and simple-minded.

One creates a potential danger and one who is responsible for it (theory) and an atrocity they seemingly are responsible of. (Hitler created the ‘Jewish Bolshevism‘ as an alien image and a threat).

Then the one propagates ‘evidences’ evidences of their atrocities, their crimes, their wrong, their intention to harm ‘us’.
The collective of such fools, their solidarity gives them what they are lacking of when there are on their own alone.
Confidence, an ideology and togetherness. A real identity and a real belonging.

Today’s people who are accessible for such a mechanism can become a victim of brown esoteric.
They are easy meat to become a victim of such a conspiracy theory.
The conspiracy theory of Chemtrails originally comes from the Welsbach patent.

Those observations really come from aerosol injection into the atmosphere.
But they are made by airplanes when they simply fly along. The phenomena are well known to scientists.

The adherents of Chemtrails are lacking of scientific backgrounds. Leaders of this conspiracy theory belong to a market share of 9 billion / year.
    Keyword: ‘Viral marketing’.
They sell books, ‘scientific’ test kits and other propaganda media. They start workshops, lectures, seminaries, they accept donations.
The methods are those of the Nazis. This time wrapped into pseudoscience and brown esoteric.

Science had made experiments to take an influence on current weather situations, sure.
It is known that H2SO4 injection into the atmosphere produces clouds which are starting to rain.
Much more advanced is the injection of silver iodide and dry ice.
When there had been military parades the Soviets started airplanes some days ago to inject the clouds so they can rain and vanish. They simply wanted to have a sunny day when the military parade started….

Also China is testing to inject the atmosphere with AgI and CO2(s)= dry ice, they have to supply a lot of hungry mouths, so controlled raining can be helpful….

This has absolutely nothing to do with Chemtrails and other conspiracy theories.

Fear is the path to the Dark Side. Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate; hate leads to suffering. I sense much fear in you adherent of Chemtrails and conspiracy theories….lol…. :yoda:

Watch out for the general mechanism (which is used by everybody or every institution who wants to have power): Governments also use brown Nazi methods.

One creates fear whilst inventing a phenomenon which threatens an individual or an entire culture, better said the idea of that individual / culture, the self-image the individual / culture has. (Which is usually a wrong idea of oneself with no confidence and no real feeling of togetherness).

For that reason the one uses any media the one can get to make others aware of that threat.

Then this threat is used to justify a special measure, idea, ideology, strategy.
This time to enforce a political measure.

For instance the government creates a potential threat….’The Islamists’.
The induced fear of a seemingly threat makes the people to agree with new observation strategies, make them to give up their privacy. Make them to agree with military actions.
The goal is achieved, the governments have more control of the people, more power.
The government always has good arguments: To protect and to educate their people. They are in anybody's good books.

So the adherents of conspiracy theories want only your best: To inform you, to protect you, to make you feel educated and not being a fool….wake up.

    :tea:

A complete fantasy and a 100% man made. Significant changes in climate have continually occurred throughout geologic time. The Medieval Warm Period, from around 1000 to1200 AD (when the Vikings farmed on Greenland) was followed by a period known as the Little Ice Age. Since the end of the 17th Century the "average global temperature" has been rising at the low steady rate; although from 1940-- 1970 temperatures actually dropped, leading to a Global Cooling scare. Like they mention above, poster "Boy" was out spreading rumors solely for the financial benefits of this man made lie!!!

The 1970's cooling scare was mainly media hype. There are no (none that I could find) scientific papers suggesting any significant cooling was taking place.
