you know they have a cure for hepatitis "c" and its $1000 a pill , the manufacture says they can make a generic for 68 cents a pill but their R and D costs were so high and they have to make that back before lowering the price ! so how many people have to die so somebody has to make a buck . what ever happened to finding a cure for something to save lives and make a better world . why does it cost less to buy drugs in mexico than in the states . because big pharmaceutical charges what ever the market will bear . there was a time when it was more important to save lives then to make a buck not any more the world gets sadder every day it seems money is more important then life
Wow, no weed experience and then to try as aphrodisiac.......this probably does not work. It can who knows..when smoking you can easy find your dosage and stop....when eating oh well it takes 1-1,5 hours and then it starts to work and you have to go through the entire swallowed dosage...if it's too much you for sure won’t have sex the next hours. One bad side effect is a dry mouth (not only from smoking).....take some nice fruits strawberries and the like with you and you can play with them Go for a cookie with 0.25 grams in it and try....will give you a first impression.....if not always WAIT. It can take 2 hours until it starts to act. I missed that one time already and took 2 more cookies...after 5 minutes then the first started to act....I had to lay flat down the ground and laughed..could not move anyway... You can bake what you like, cake, muffins, cookies.-...just take the butter(fat) which will be needed and melt it in hot water....then add your fine cut weed stir it 10 minutes and put it in the fridge until it is solid again. Then use it to bake your stuff... And never forget cannabis is a hallucinogen especially when swallowed....(taken orally)
The fact that people have to die because of lack of medication...generally is very sad. They could make generics for poor countries, but then some crooks would re-sell it there where the price is still original.
u forget to mention corruption...big pharma have powerful lobbyist that go to Washington DC with bags full of cash and have all our top politicians in their pockets...i dont blame so much the big corps as much as our leaders with zero morals and values....but hey they have the best health insurance they dont worry if a medication cost $1000 a pill they could afford it or their insurance covers it....but regular citizen is fukkkkk!!!
That's because Viagra, like many other prescription drugs, is abused (e.g. used as a recreational drug) Another drug like that is dostinex (Cabergoline). $1200 USD / 30 tablets.
What the US pharma corporations do is - write the laws, thanx to their donations to the campaigns of both major parties... Sometimes they are writing USofA foreign policies (banana case)... Sad, truly f-ed up and sad!!! Why? Because they do not care how many small countries they f-up in the process, the sociopatic eejuts that they are, never mind individuals in the USofA (and even less around the world)!!! We all remember that "entrepreneur" who bought a drug manufacturer and raised the price of the drug 1000s of %... Bernie is giving him and people like him a proper bollocking for a reason! On the other hand, other countries, like SA, BR etc. (which have pharma generic producing companies) do not feel obliged to follow such crazy f-ed up policies! Moreover, the state ought to provide those drugs anyway - but it doesn't, thanx to the crooked and idiotic system in the US... Anyway, India has lots of companies making the stuff at less than €0.50 a pill... Some of them cost to a consumer that little, actually! Yen, thanx, I knew some of that stuff and I wouldn't want to eat it anyway... But what I am interested in is can you smoke it without tobacco and how exactly? Secondly, how to know which weed is good for what and how much of it is enough/too much? Bernie is campaigning strongly to legalise it, btw!
Michaela, I know of cases whereby young people, who really don't need it, take one before going out, "just in case" and then... get silly...
@gorski The keyword for smoking it purely is vaporizer....there are many different of them available. Also there are special pipes available. I personally don't have experiences...I dunno how it is in other countries but there are head-shops selling ‘supplies’ also advising… About quality and dosage...growers always create new varieties. Although there are 3 major substances/groups responsible for the kind of action, you cannot ‘see’ their ratios. Pharmaceutically controlled weed is analyzed. Depending on medical treatment they choose different ratios. You can see how the flowers look like how they smell and see if they are ‘decent’… But the actual action/strength/potential you always know not before you’ve tried personally. When I was 25 I grew own and separated it chromatographically. We wanted to try the fractions and how they act in body, lol… one could clearly notice different actions of the fractions…some just made you tired, others ‘enhanced’ perception (visual and sound)..some did nothing at all…. Also dosage depends on person and daily condition. Smoking lets you decide when to quit. If one should miss that point, then uncomfortable effects prevail…all sugar containing foods are good then. There are two basic actions: High and stoned, lol…the latter is associated to ‘indica’ and the former to sativa. The 2 ‘natives’… General remark: Smoking weed is still illegal in most countries. My post is not made to motivate a crime but for info….
Oh, I luv the lawyer ending... Thank you kindly!!! Really! You ARE a chemist! Now I know more! Maybe one day...
Michaela, to finish the OTT here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/newsbeat/artic...rn-is-damaging-mens-health-says-nhs-therapist Now, these things all play a part, given our biggest sex organ is our brain... in both sexes!

I am actually most surprised at the number of people that don't believe that global warming is man made. I've always taken it for granted.
It really makes no difference if it is man-made or natural. It is probably both since the climate always changes. What we need to do is continue to clean our environment. When Richard Nixon was president of the U.S. he warned us we needed to act now to save the environment, and that now was in 1972 or there abouts.
Sarkozy sparks storm over claims man 'not sole cause' of climate change Sarkozy sparks storm over claims man 'not sole cause' of climate change
That guy doesn't look too unlike Sylvester Stallone a while back. Asking whether global climate change or global warming is man made is a false one. It almost seems as though the questions are asked in this manner, because the answer is quite literally 'yes and no'. Keeps them covered I guess. It is false because the correct question to be asking is whether climate change is being influenced by human activity, and whether human activity is leading to an overall trend of increased global temperatures. This distinction is important be because climate change and global warming, as defined by the parameters of the words and basic meanings alone, occur naturally. Now for an analogy. If you hang your clothes out on a cool day, they will dry eventually. If you put your clothes in a clothes dryer they will dry much quicker. The first process is natural, the second one is 'man-influenced', you still get dry clothes either way. Climate sceptics will argue that the dryer is a natural process. A climate 'protagonist' will argue that the dryer is the thing that dries the clothes, without taking into account that the clothes would dry naturally anyway. The difference is though, drying the clothes naturally will take longer. Natural climate change occurs over fairly long times by a human perspective, unless there is some event such as the cause behind the Younger Dryas. The dryer just might not stop at the same point either, you could shrink your clothes, overheat them (if they're synthetic fibres) etc., such as changed weather patterns, rising sea levels etc. Therefore, the question 'Is Global Warming man made or a natural cycle?', is actually very much a way a politician would ask it. They could side with either side of the argument and still not be technically 'wrong', per se.
@Katzenfreund: Many of us feel that the "Global Warming" issue has been hyped up so that the politicians can enact regulations and ultimately charge us more money. (Trickle down economy and all that...) burfadel said it perfectly when he said that the answer is "Yes and No." Yes we need to clean up our act. We're a disgusting species. If you left your house as filthy as we've left the oceans, your neighbors would burn it down for health reasons. No, it's not completely man made. The earth goes through periods of cooling and heating. It did this long before thermometers were invented. But taxing the people or spending millions of dollars on studies is not going to solve the problem, although politicians would like the people to think that. -That's- why this issue is in the forefront and on the lips of everyone. Because the politicians see this as a -HUGE- money maker.
I totally agree with most of your statement. I majored in geology in the late 70s, and climate change is inevitable. We do need to clean up our act. Just remember though, the millions of dollars spent on global warming studies, and solutions result in jobs. There is huge growth potential in green energy, both in production, and research.
@dhjohns: There's so much technology out there that will cut down or eliminate the need to burn fossil fuels. Unfortunately, the governments think in terms of economy and not ecology. For instance: In New York City, it's against the law to have rooftop vertical windmills. The excuse is that the pigeons will be harmed. The real reason is that the utility companies stand to lose profits. So they (The utilities) petitioned the government and coerced the city and state into passing laws preventing their installation. Another shining example of hypocracy: BMW has a diesel engine that can get upwards of 80 miles per gallon. They're illegal in the US, but they're built here. The other piece is that the government does not shop around, and tends to spend too much for too little. Case & Point: $650 ashtrays on B-52s, $800 hammers, etc. IMHO, the private sector -NEEDS- to get more involved and needs to start "footing the bill" for these studies. They tend to apply better cost control and accounting. They're not perfect, but they're better than the government.
