I'm on using the SxS Expander to grab the Microsoft-Windows-Internet-Browser-Package package from a regular Windows 10 install, how do I install the package on LTSC? And what is the registry key that someone mentioned that helps with applying updates when Edge has been added to the system?

Can you update your installer package with today's store app update (11809.1001.8.0)
This version fixes the 0x00000194 error faced by many.

There are two actually:

Microsoft.WindowsStore_11809.1001.813.0_neutral_~_8wekyb3d8bbwe.appxbundle

and

Microsoft.WindowsStore_11808.1001.1013.0_neutral_~_8wekyb3d8bbwe.appxbundle

Is it correct to pick the highest build number, in this case 1013.0?

Shouldn't realy matter. Store will update if not used latest Version .

 

On LTSC '19 is it possible to install/add only Edge browser in a minimal way (not for browsing purpose but just as system-close app pdf/epub reader) without getting also all the store stuff?

 

The versioning start from left
so 11809 is higher

I added the store (with App Installer, Xbox Identity and Purchase App) to Windows LTSC N 2019 using the script and I was able to open it and install other apps. My problem is, as soon as the Windows Store updates itself, it won't open again. I have already tried the command suggested in the first post and resetting the store cache. Any ideas?

 

I had the same issue on vmware when I Installed the older version of the store and then updated to 11809.1001.8.0.
It did not want to launch and wsreset did not work, had to restore to a clean state by snapshot.
I thought it was because I used a script to disable Windows Defender but after restoring the snapshot I used the same script to disable WD and then installed store again but version 11809.1001.8.0 and it worked.
