Something wrong with the usb drive preparation or either the system hard drive partition layout. Do you have any other windows 8.1 os dvd or backup iso image and also a spare pc with internet connection.
and what about the windows 8.1 iso image /dvd. if you have then you can use my ToolKit to produce a windows 8.1 usb stick and then try to install a os on the other system.

if you have a larger hard drive space above 2 TB then you can use the GPT and to read GPT disk you need UEFI BIOS PC
hi, test if you want: use command prompt as administrator recimg /deregister enter this command if, for some reason, you want or need to return to Win8′s default system image. Refresh will use the image originally provided by the PC’s manufacturer — or, if no OEM file is available, the files on your original installation medium. (Using the /setcurrent command described above, you can always return to one of your custom system-image files.) Wiki
It seems that the previous installation was made in UEFI mode, not Legacy BIOS. USB must be first formatted as GPT partition. Then, just copy content of ISO to the stick. The problem occurs because you try to install using legacy BIOS installation media, and you need UEFI media, usb or dvd.
Take your time making a bootable usb on another device.Do it some other time if you can't now.Cool down, think and act properly. There are many helpful replies in the thread.
the toolkit works on Windows 7 you need to install the wadk 8.1 tools when asked. if you can provide a teamviewer remote access, I can make a usb stick for you. if you are ok with giving a teamviewer remote access.
