lol...Not dissing TPB in fact if one were to look closely they'd notice that the Repository RTM torrents are indeed TPB torrents...lol
the windows that f**kd up my laptop was the toprated version at piratebay, i know i can download , but the computer i have access to know dont allow me to install programs, since im not admin. So i need a place i can download the iso file without have do download a program. u see? Thnx to y all
Eddy, you have installed W7 How exactly? From xp? With f9 you can choose USB boot. Create a partition on USB stick and make it active You can use diskpart therefore.. diskpart-->list disk--->Select Disk X (X= usb stick)--->clean--->create partition primary-->active--->format fs=fat32 quick Copy entire files of an untouched W7 iso on it and boot with it at your screwed system..it's now just like you would boot the W7 dvd Go to recovery console and apply the MBR commands, or run repair..make sure the ISO is untouched.
As far as I know, the top rated version on TPB is an unactivated image for both 32+64 bit (5.3 gb) with some loaders put separately in the download; and according to windows 7 iso verifier, it is genuine. I have that also, but anyway use the repository iso. I do not think the top rated unactivated version on TPB is any less genuine. I think the same torrent is also the top seed in btjunkie. This specific torrent is different from the repository iso, which as noted by timesurfer, can be found on both TPB, btjunkie, etc.
yeah, i can choose usb boot, but whatever i do, boot from usb, ethernet or hdd nothing happens, i just get a black screen 1 sec after i have choosed what to boot from. But i have been thinking, is it possible the school admin have done anything so the computer locks if i install another os, because they are trying to lock everything so students not should f**k up the computers, and do s**t with the ethernet at school++ I cant see a way? Can you?
So you can't access the BIOS because the tech nazi won't tell you the password ? You left school ? It's your computer ? It's their computer ? What is going on ? - tell the guy you need the BIOS password cause your computer's f....d.
What I meant was that specific iso (if he was referring to the top rated tpb which is the unactivated iso) was genuine and in hash checks or bit checks, absolutely identical to the repository iso. That is the MS image and if that is the source of the problem, then win 7 or the PC is the problem, not the source of download. If he had that, he can try again for the time being. As for me, I had that earlier but never used it (was scared of using loaders and felt as if preactivated had some magic in it). Used the 32 bit iso of that torrent once (when I was in the 32 bit initial phase), worked fine, but foolishly replaced with preac. ones. However, after becoming a member here, have downloaded the repository iso, and have now used it for my 4-5 installs. I do keep 2-3 images of both 64+32 bit on the hard disk and on dvd. Intend never to use preac. at all now. At the risk of repetition, unactivated+loaders is very easy to install, and 100% safe (for the PC at least, and from MS for hopefully a long time). So in conclusion, he can try to see what is the problem, and if the pc works, download the repository iso for future first use. It has worked for me all the time, is 100% genuine; and if it does not work sometime in the future, I know the image is not the problem. By the way, on a personal note to timesurfer. Is that photo you or some actor. I seem to have seen that person sometime in my life.
Exactly he's left shool with computer he wasn't fully entitled to get for a year, that all i can make out of his statments.
This was the torrent I was referring to as top rated on TPB. At least windows 7 iso verifier verifies it as a genuine image. And so is the repository image.
