I just tried WOW6 on a DELL 8600... Didn't Work. Even though everything went flawlessly on installation and verbosed correctly, Key/Activation failed. I also tried multiple different keys, warmstarts/restarts/coldstarts... nothing activated V. I'm running Vista ULTIMATE 6002 (SP2)

I presume if you have an older DELL notebook/lapatop you are SOL.

Could it be that the latest Vista upgrades block "activation exploit"? There are some reports of broken activation (see WoW thread) after upgrading Vista with newest security patches from March. I presume they are all included in SP2 also.

I have HP 6720s BIOS ver. F09 and vista SP1 works with WoW without any problems, but i ask bec i wish to know is there end for this BIOS locking,so now i see this topic that clever people found how they block freeDOS computers from Vista activation.
Im just curious to see can we make our HP FreeDOS unlocked?

See your post right now. Could you confirm my bios is right the hidden one?

If it is ture, I'll give the asset tool a try.

PS: My Inspiron 6400 is a free OS (Linux) machine.
