At this time only intel boards with Intel-Ami-core bioses can be modded.

The problem is that there are no tools available to decompress and rebuild / edit.
If somebody has got tools to edit (not ITK) please tell.

Note to self-before ordering a board (like I did a few days ago) research more in depth. Guess on the Intel D955XCS I'll be running XP or Linux on ithttp://forums.mydigitallife.net/posts/8281

On ITK.... I bet there is some kind of plug in that works with ITK to allow mods, if not another program which does only that.

(I noticed in a Intel doc somewhere a contact e-mail with a e-mail address with wording that implied such.)

Even on Chinese websites I didn't find a tool that allows to mod Intel bioses yet. Zhaoliang hasn't as well.
There is a tool for sure. The developers of bioses / OEM have to use them.

    Yen,

Got to ask... do, Or can you read /write Chinese? Are you, or have you been able to post at those sites, carry on a in-depth conversation with these modders?

I ask because I do not speak, write Chinese...

On that tool... In the case of Intel boards with a Intel / or Intel OEM branded BIOS it has to be a plug in that works with ITK.
