Yes thank you using this to convert and then using the KMS_VL_ALL to activate worked both for windows and office. I just wonder... I tried to use the officeRtool on 2 laptops to activate office 2019. At first I thought that it was the Windows OEM BIOS key that was causing issues but since both laptops have that key but it worked on one of them I don't know what else could be different. On the "working" laptop, Windows is installed using the official creation tool by Microsoft that it used the OEM BIOS key to activate windows as Windows 10 Home. The other laptop was formatted using Windows 10 v1809 by CYGiSO and rufus to install the ISO file on my USB. Using the ei.cfg & pid.txt methods I installed a windows 10 enterprise N key and windows got installed correctly as such. Using the KMS_VL_ALL script, Windows got activated without a problem but the OfficeRTool failed to activate office 2019. Using your link + the KMS_VL_ALL worked on that laptop in the end. Just some info for the creator of the OfficeRTool. Let me know if you need any other info from me. Happy to help.
This is a scene relase. No one knows what's wrong with this Windows install media. And as you already stated, official MS Windows media was working.
A new OfficeRTool version (2018/December/02) was released today -BugFix- Office Deployment Tool setup fixed to allow 32bit Office install on 64bit Windows 10 Function (C) CONVERT OFFICE RETAIL TO VOLUME Office 365 / Business 365 conversion needs a restructure/change to reenable Office 365 functionalities: - Dropped "Office 2016 ProfessionalPlus" license conversion for Office 365 / Business 365 - Added "Office Mondo" license conversion for Office 365 / Business 365 (thanks @abbodi1406 for inspiration) (Update) - Important: It's essential to redo "(C) CONVERT OFFICE RETAIL TO VOLUME" on existing Office 365 systems to set correct configuration with "Mondo"-license and -key for not to loose functionality. No other changes were made. Download-links and checksums in OP were updated.
Hi @ratzlefatz - I think there may be a bug in the 2nd Dec version... If I try and show the activation status of a 365ProPlus system with Visio and Project, I get activation status : 9 (---UNKNOWN---) Previous versions up and to including 19th Nov all worked fine in this regard. let me know if you need any debug info.
@Zopeman : I'm sure, you didn't run (C)onversion again. As "Mondo" is used now during conversion process, check fails because still "ProfessionalPlus" license and ProPlus key is active. Redo (C) CONVERT OFFICE RETAIL TO VOLUME. I'm sure, it will work.
Guys, I have installed office 2019 but i want office 365 features. I know office 365 is continuous update was wondering if i can install a trial update it once and convert to VL and activate, will the new features stay or disappear? or is there any other way of doing it? thanks.
Being something of a novice am not clear on the reason for the strategy .."- Added "Office Mondo" license conversion for Office 365 / Business 365 (thanks @abbodi1406 for inspiration)".... and it implications. Am I correct in thinking that because the Mondo key is applied at VL conversion, this guarantees full feature functionality? And this is to negate a loss of functionality somehow now encountered with the previous 365PP conversion process? i.e Mondo is the only way to restore this? My understanding is that Mondo builds expire after a certain period and that at this point an uninstall will become necessary?... before re-installing with another build (either a newer Mondo, or something different offered in the DL part of OfficeRTool? )
Mondo is not beta or preview, it's official SKU, but not public full Office 365 features requires acrual Office 365 subscription Mondo licenses provide some of them
How to properly scrub/remove Office C2R or Office 2016 MSI (by abbodi1406) -> https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/discussion-microsoft-office-2019.75232/page-33#post-1466365.
@Cilian74: As this still doesn't work, you could delete and rebuild the license tokens.dat file. Windows 8/10: look into the posts here, here, here and see also the posts here (Win7) and here.
You original question was not clear, it sound like you don't have Project/Visio, yet their licenses are present but if you installed Project/Visio 2019 directly as Volume SKUs, of course you will get their licenses converting O365ProPlus with Mondo does not remove them even if you manually removed them, updating Office to new build will reinstall them
