Is it normal for Microsoft Teams to be installed agains someone's will? I have Office 365 ProPlus installed and it appeared out of nowhere.
Thanks. I was able to uninstall Microsoft Teams since it was recently and oddly installed separately but since Skype for Business was replaced by it then why do I need both <ExcludeApp ID="Lync"/> and <ExcludeApp ID="Teams"/> and not only <ExcludeApp ID="Teams"/>? Why are they both installed and not only Teams? Also, should I choose Monthly Channel or Monthly Channel (Targeted)? I want to have the most recent fixes but not having bugs like if I was in the Insider Channel. EDIT: So, let me get this straight. Office 365's updates aren't offered by WU (like in the "normal" Office's case) but automatically installed by it?
I've downloaded the D alternative (DOWNLOAD OFFICE OFFLINE INSTALL PACKAGE ) and got a bunch of cab files. Now what? My goal is to get the Office 365 ofline installer into my MDT share and have no clue what to do with these files. Probobly just to tierd and missed something obvious, but any way. Any help aprechiated. /Rab. EDIT: Never mind. Solved by geting a nap and re-booting my brain.

Didn't remember it but that doesn't answer my other questions as well as Office 365 ProPlus not updating itself before having reinstalled Windows 10. Maybe this happened because my Windows 10's image edited by NTLite was pre-activated by KMS_VL_ALL's $OEM$ folder at the time unlike now (I manually ran KMS_VL_ALL and OfficeRTool [the latter after converting Office 365 ProPlus Retail to Volume license) after reinstalling Windows 10 and I also used a vanilla image this time), I don't know. I asked this last question many times but no one answered me.
Same here! I have Office365ProPlus 1907 (build 11901.20218) installed on my laptop and I can second what you have written: after few restarts, (4 of them, I suppose) my old "New Simplified Ribbon" (or Small Ribbon, as you called it in your script), has gone for good. Then, although I have tried to scrub all the old licenses, convert my build to volume, activate all the Mondo licenses again, well, nothing seems to work now as before: not all the local O365 functions are up and running. --- EDIT --- Unfortunately, the solution based on backup© the Office ExperimentConfigs registry keys that I have used so many times with success in the past on different PCs (that is, the procedure suggested in this post ) seems not to work, too:. At the moment, the only solution should be that of starting the installation of O365 from scratch as it was a new fresh instance
@MrKaon @spanishfly @maxama123 @MatteoMit Today I updated to 1908 and now I have the Simplified (Small) Ribbon for Outlook with activated Mondo License. I restarted 4 times and it seems to be here to stay. So all fine now. Maybe you can agree to this. Hm... who knows why the feature (maybe other features, too?) are delayed for 3 mainversion when not having the real O365 license.
Might have been asked many times. How to enable/activate new Ribbon for 2019 VL Pro Plus Edition? Mine is legitimately activated using a MAK key. No kms here.
I install Mondo 2016 directly with YAOCTRI and YAOCTRU and works perfectly! I'm not sure if that all of the features of Office 365 are present, but there are a lot of improvements since Office 2019 (new ribbon, new icons, improved spelling and grammar, Project and Visio included in the install, and more) All of the software now has the new icons except Project (but in the license indicator in About program is the new icon for Project - will be added in a future update to the program itself) Mondo 2016 is called, but don't fool for the 2016 in the name, it's better than office 2019. And it's installable in Windows 7 without tricks (i tested it personally with yaoctri and windows 7)
