Could use a little insight as to how I can resolve an oddity im having with Microsoft Project 2019 (but only on 1 of my 2 machines) All are installed/activated via KMS Tools and have been uneventful and problem free. However today I opened project on my main PC and was greeted by a banner saying something alone the lines "license was updated, click to activate or ignore" and I chose the latter. No harm no foul. All works as usual. On my other pc, same banner and same process followed. However now each time I open Project on that PC, it says its standard version and im greeted with a popup that says "We noticed you just updated your license. Please reboot Microsoft Project for the changes to take effect." of course upon each reboot/restart etc, i'm greeted with that pop up again. If i click on account, it says Product Activated. If i run KMS Auto Lite and click on Information, its also pegged as activated, yet evidently its not on some level. I uninstalled and reinstalled project and the problem remains.
Seems a license problem. Did you already try to repeat Retail2VL-conversion? Either use C2R-R2V from abbodi1406 or internal (C)onvert function from OfficeRTool. After conversion succeds, use your favourite KMS activator for activation. Be sure, Antivirus-programm doesn't block these processes.
Was just checking to ensure it was still seen as VL and naturally, it is. At least with KMS Tools. I'll look into how to "repeat" the retail2VL conversion manually as I believe its handled under the hood with KMS Tools/KMSAuto Lite. This way that can at least be eliminated as a contributing variable. thank you for the reply.
Do the office apps I installed using OfficeRTool automatically update? Or will I have to manually update them?
hi i installed microsoft office pro plus 2016 december ish using the guide on the first few pages and all was well but now i am getting an activation wizard pop up saying this copy of office is not activated and other stuff about corporate and might be counterfeit. i get a box saying change product key. can anyone please tell me how to remove this pop up? thanks

thanks for that ratzlfatz i used C2R-R2V from abbodi1406 and i now appear to have office 2019 it starts up with no nag screen. so am i good to go or do i need to still activate it using kms? im wary of kms because i once downloaded one that carried loads of trojans virus was it called kms spico? anyway if you could point me to a clean kms activator i would be most gratefull
@aljaxon69 : I suggest you use -> KMS_VL_ALL (from abbodi1406). This one has OfficeRetail2VL conversion included (in case you need this again). See KMS_VL_ALL readme how to deal with it.
ProPlusVolume, as the Edition says but ODT do not allow installing Office 2016 volume SKUs you can install ProPlusRetail, then convert to volume
Also hey fellas! I have started to get the error, when I run officertool each time saying access denied for the checking for new version of each product.
I assume, it worked before? Check your antivirus- or any other security-software. Seems, a signature- update now stops OfficeRTool from working. If not already done, set exclusions for OfficeRTool in AV. What files/folders to exclude? Look -> here. If still not successful, your system firewall or your internet provider may block requests to Office CDN. Last resort: You can delete all "latest_xxxxxx_build.txt" files. They will be recreated at next OfficeRTool startup.
I am really so sorry guys but I absolutely didn't understand any of the how-to's.... I'm very new here and inexperienced... I'm a begginer with this tool... Maybe someone can provide me a video tutorial link? If any... or any tutorials for absolute begginers? I just wanted to upgrade my office 2013 to 2016...
