Is there a way to use the tool to mod a Fujitsu Siemens bios?

The files seem to be an ocf and the tool doesn't seem to like it.

Modding a Lenovo A51 8131 35U, Bios 2FJT25A, Phoenix BIOS (new style) because I could not find one modded. I followed the steps "how to modify and flash lenovo bioses" to step # 11.

    11. After parsing $01B8200.FL1 bios file, a window will appear showing what SLIC is presently in the bios file and that slic is lenovotp-7u.

    12. Therefore, we need to use SLIC lenovotp-7u 2.1 to modify it - the point here is to choose the exact slic v2.1 that matches the slic 2.0 that is in the bios in which we are going to modify.

step 11 state slic lenovotp-7u should appear, but that does not happen. The window that pop up does not show that, what am I doing wrong?

    the pop up win shows
    Header (oemid_oemtable LTP) in bioscodo2.rom(x1)
    Pubkey in mod_4a01.rom(x1)

I was expecting it to show lenovotp-7u.

Just wanted to say a giant thank you for the effort of all the people on MDL. I've already successfully modded 3 BIOSes following your instructions, my desktop pc and 2 laptops. Unfortunately I can't post them due to my low post count. Keep up the good work.

Nothing. ;). The example is another bios and hence there are other conditions.
It doesn't show up a complete SLIC, because at the biosupdate there is no present.
Almost all Phoenix Lenovo biosupdates haven't got a complete SLIC. At licensed Notebooks the marker part (missing part to have a complete SLIC) is written directly onto the bioschip using marker tools.

    Header+pubkey+marker= complete SLIC.

Btw: You are posting about the RSDPo_O. The ID's will remain, it is the ID of the RSDT that has to be the same as the SLIC.

Just flash the mod after the tool has reported a success, it should work...

Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand...

I did the mod successfully. But it would not flash.

I used winPhlash that came with the bios and it is telling me that

"Part ID of system bios and new Image file are different (system =2fkt25aus, file = 7uet79ww). The system platform may be different from the image file. Are you sure you want to proceed?"

When i clicked yes to proceed, my system (win xp) freezes.

    The system rebooted normally.

I will have to figure out a way to flash it.

Hi Busykid508! I have read this post and do it! But, when i choose BIOS.FL1 (lenovo t61), this tool show "lenovotp-1E", i don't have it, but there are many another SLIC such as "lenovotc-5m, lenovotp-7y,...". Can I use SLIC lenovotc-5m or lenovotp-7y,...?
    Thanks!

Many thanks for the clear instruction which can be easily followed. I finished the procedure successfully, but failed to flash the bios. I got message 'Part ID of the System BIOS and new Image File are different (System = , file = VAIO). the System platform may be different from the Image file. Are you sure you want to proceed?' Aftger I pressed 'Yes' I got BIOS update failed! ... Error Code: -149'. Could you please advise. It is for my Vaio laptop VGN-TZ21WN. Many thanks in advance.

Can anyone help me with a Compaq Presario V3000?
    Board is a Wistron 30B5.
    Using latest BIOS (F3D).

I tried 2 different BIOS mods posted on the forums here (both based on F3D) and both gave me a half-mapped SLIC (therefore invalid).

I tried the BIOS by Fzeven from here ( forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/814-Award-amp-AMI-Bios-mod-requests.-Previous-requests?p=15457#post15457 ) which is very old (F39) and only has a 2.0 SLIC, but it actually mapped correctly, and SLIC ToolKit reports the SLIC as being totally valid.

How the hell did Fzeven make that 2.0 SLIC which fills the entire SLIC table and actually works? I can't get it to work at all :(
