Hello Mazzif, greetings from germany, i look to reset the bios password from HP elitebook 8570p,thit you now something for this notebook?
to unlock the MPM, run Wndmifit64.exe, and then relock the MPM. To unlock the MPM, copy the FSMC.bin file from the WNDMIFIT folder to a Fat32-formatted USB drive. Rename the file to SMC.bin. Plug the USB drive into the laptop with the power off. Hold Windows Key + Arrow UP Key + Arrow Down Key at the same time and power the system on. Release all keys when you see the blue HP logo. You should see a brief message on a white screen saying that the SMC command was handled successfully. This means that the MPM is unlocked, and will remain so for the next 10 power-cycles.
pls i need someone to point to me the location of the bios chip on hp 2170 and hp 5320m. just location. thanks
Unsoldered the BIOS-Chip. Programmer CH431A - read the chip, with the help of file padding.pad from Mazzif (there is a topic and a nice explanation from Mazzif) modified the BIOS file. Resoldered the chip, then with Win10PE and wndmifit restored the serial and so on.
Thanks to Mazzif, succeded in removing the BIOS-Password from HP Elitebook 8570W! For those, who are interested - pls follow exactly what Mazzif has previously posted. Believe me, he knows what he is doing!

plllllz help me I forget my Bois password, I can't change loading drive my laptop is: HP probook 450 G2 Is there a way to reset its password? please help
for those that dont want to bother and want to just dload some .bin to reprogram.. try 4shared.com search for your model.
The problem with that, is you get their SN and SKU and any other data that was captured. Not a deal breaker if all you want is to bypass password. Although I have had issues flashing an older revision BIOS after say an F.61 revision. It would brick the laptop. But Id say no need to go DL and hunt around for files. I've found that I can take ANY HP laptop (with an 8 or 16 pin SOIC), with my PI, read the BIOS and capture a dump file, export to my workstation then simply edit a tiny 16bit area of that file and save it. Flash it back using my PI, and the laptop will boot in Manufacturing Programming Mode. The elusive MPM. The neat thing here is that once this is done, I can boot a USB with the smc.bin using the UP+DOWN+Windows Key and reset the MPM (Clearing the Password). The smc.bin is universal as far as i have tested as long as the machine is in MPM 0. Once thats done just reporgram using either HPSET or HPBIOSCONFIG (WNDMIFIT) utils depending on model.
hi, i successfully dumped the bios from a HP Probook 640 G2. the problem is, it's a Winbond W25Q128FV chip which is supported by flashrom, but it contains various OTP regions. i couldn't find the $VSS store region in iHex, neither could i find it in UEFITool. the NVRAM Volume exsists, but it's not expandable in UEFItool. by the way: TXT and TPM is enabled and replacing the bios chip results in blinking caps/numlock-leds (5 - systemboard). so i guess im locked out for good and have to replace the mobo? any suggestions? thanks and cheers from germany, patrick
