Still working on this issue. As before I still do not have POST. Cannot get into diags. Question is I was searching my EFI partition on the HDD and only found 2 files under HP\BIOS\CURRENT which are 01966.bin and 01966.s12 and no .sig that everyone mentions here. Is that an issue? My rev is 1962 which is good to go with 01966 (FD#01=PCI,0,0,0,2C,FFFFFFFF,1962103C,01966.fd).
Tried everything and took you advise on a ch341A programmer. I used a test clip to program the bios chip and all is working now. I just lost my windows key and the information in the bios menu is wrong like the model number serial number and etc but I don't mind. Thank you so much!
do you have old backup.bin of corrupt ? i can get win 8+ key and reinsert to working backup with no key. reinsert MSDM to the .bin with your key or a key that works. the serial n other things can be redone with HP DMIFIT
Thanks a ton for the guide. I bricked my HP DV6-6173cl laptop trying to use a bios that had the advanced tabs unlocked and the WiFi whitelist removed because I wanted to replace my crappy Intel 1000 wifi card to a Intel 7260 AC card with bluetooth. Turns out the bios that bricked my PC also had a bluetooth whitelist as well, so I couldn't get into Windows anyway. On the next boot, it was bricked. Used the process here and it worked great! Thanks so much!! I did have some initial problems though. The biggest was using the HP UEFI Bios Utility. It for some reason would not work with the USB option no matter if I was on Windows 7 or 10 on two different machines. I ended up placing the file on the usb stick itself and choosing the "UEFI Partition on Hard Drive" option when it was on the usb stick and that finally gave me the result I wanted, then it was smooth sailing from there. After magically recovering my bios with your instructions and after a ton of digging, I did end up finding the Bios that had the advanced menus, wifi, and bluetooth whitelists removed. The bios updated perfectly and BAM, it accepted my Intel 7260 AC wifi card and what a Huge difference. When I thought I had it all in the bag, there was one last issue that surfaced, and that was the bluetooth. It would disappear after putting the laptop into sleep mode, even in the device manager and only a reboot would fix it. But after more research, I found out if you put tape on pin #51, it solves all the bluetooth problems. That was quite a lot of time, work, and research but in the end it was worth it. Everything now works perfect.

@LatinMcG hello. hp g62 b13st bios bricked. Error loading cmos 502 after installing bios. bios is not logged in. The laptop shuts itself down. phoenixtool with 01439.FD and 01439.SIG files usb root with the HP_TOOLS folder. negative questions. can you help

HP BIOS Uptade EFI fies usb memory print. Phoenixtool with 01439.fd file extraction. 01439.fd name 01439.bin to sig- 01439.sig. Hewlett-Packard/Bios/Current files copy. Press and hold win + b and connect the power cord. Press the release button. 30 seconds after usb memory light. Release the keys. Have HP G62-327CA that is about 8 yrs old. Win7 upgraded to Win10. Worked one day and then failed to boot from Windows10 the next day. As soon as its powered on Caps lock continues to flash 1 long flash repeatedly. Win+B and WIn+V does nothing. Tried swapping memory no difference.
