Being omnipotent is the problem, irresistible force meeting the immovable object ...

    Hi,
I don't know if God is omniscient. I believe that it shcould be so. why? Because man is a mad beast. Man abuses freedom. Secular laws are not sufficient to prevent him from abusing freedom. I remembered Voltaire's saying: If God doesn't exist, he should be invented.

For the atheists to have something to deny.:D
God as object is always that what one thinks 'he' is....god as object is an invention/idea of humankind....

No, that's like being sex-crazy in a sex-driven, conflict ridden place, happily doing it and not giving a f**k about somebody else's "ethics", which they are desperately trying to foist onto you, either of the warring sides... :D

Speak now or forever be pooped upon! :D

Actually you are cognizant of the ethics in place but you're not sure how relevant they are to anything at all.

No chance that I take the bait.:p
There is no answer without to objectify.
"Thou shalt not make thee any graven image."

Many people don't know why....not because of god has forbidden that.....it is even because of there is no other way than to objectify 'him' when thinking/talking about....but whatever object one is creating it is not god, it is an image/idol.
The question: Do you believe in god? Actually forces one to create an idea of god which one accepts or denies...nothing more.

A persons' spiritual beliefs (or lack thereof) are a personal, intimate subject which, IMHO, should be shared with only the closest of friends. To ridicule the beliefs of another is, in my heart and mind a form of blasphemy, and an affront to your own psyche.

For Me, keeping an open mind and an open heart has allowed me to bond with some of the most wonderful souls in this life. Both here and in real life.

There's no arguing faith; How do you argue with someone who chooses to believe in something that can not be proven or quantified? To Me, that's a fools errand. And one which begets disrespect.

Staying within the context of the OPs' question

GOD is omniscient, and we are all free. Just because GOD knows what you're about to do, doesn't mean that GOD will stop you; It's your choice. You are the captain of you own ship, and You alone will suffer the consequence of your own actions. You can ask GOD for guidance (what is called grace) and you will get that help. Whether you choose to follow that advice is entirely up to you.

And It won't be an "in your face" answer...it will be in the form of a subtle feeling. If you don't want to listen, you won't hear (feel) it. That's free will at work.

    :MJ
