Is that TOSINV for Win7 Ultimate (Thats what I have installed) and do you mean the keys with ????? in front of them instead of a company name like Asus or whichever ?

Ok , says this now in RW (nice lil prog by the way)

    Signature"SLIC"
    Length0x00000176 (374)
    Revision0x01 (1)
    Checksum0xD2 (210)

So I like your work , thanks very much.

Well it accepted the certificate but not either of the 7 Ultimare serials available.

I mean use certificate with the name TOSHIBA-INV.XRM-MS... you can download it at stickies on Vista forum... And used Ultimate leaked key which you can find at Win7 forum...

All good now , just needed the borrowed serial number for Ultimate , says activated now (as an oem of course) .
Thanks heaps for the great help and site in general , very helpfull and also very interesting read in what I've seen so far , cheers. Hope I can contribute somewhere .

I'm fine! Thanks. Have no tools here to check. Be careful to identify the right zero bytes. Sony and VAIO are easy, but not the zero bytes.
AND yes SLIC reads the OEMID from there YOU NEED TO PATCH THEM....;)
Take care of the grouping 4+2+4+4
    Btw: I would NEVER buy a SONY....:D

Isn't it a default name like at AMI? (AMIBOOT.ROM)... maybe search for .fd string at bios (decompressed of course!) to locate the default name?

Yes my dear friend :) - that was what I was actually looking for - the right 00 bytes! I thought you might know. To be honest - I have no clue right now which ones have to be changed! Rrrrrrrrrrr..... I'm so close! Yen heeeeeeeelp :D These are the ones that caudex has to change also!
Ok, who knows what to do from here?
