How would I change PCID 09851300033059100000620100 in order to achieve an activation? I read some rules about changing 0 to a 2 but didn't take when I tried.
Serg, how do you recalculate the new PCID based on old, I tried replacing the 2 and 4 in the offset spots as in the example but didnt work for me. I posted my PCID is 0985130003305910000620100
@amulecregg Why are you deducing so? If Windows is already installed on another HDD, then boot it & post the device IDs of the IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers.
The SSD stuff doesn't matter anymore, as yesterday I flashed the wrong BIOS firmware and I haven't found a way to fash the original firmware now—Actually I created the HP_TOOLS flash drive to flash the original firmware for recovering purposes but I don't know exactly how should I name the .BIN firmware files and what folder inside the flash drive should I put them. Any ideas?
