    Yen,

Have you got any way to modify intel bios? Is it hard or impossible to mod intel bios?

I can activate vista ultimate using vista loader 3.0.0.1 but I want to activate vista by biosmod method because I don't like vista loader and wow they use grldr. I don't like grldr:mad: Although, It doesn't show on the boot screen but I still don't like it.

I have dg33fb intel motherboard. Thank you for your help :)

Not yet!:( We have no proper tools therefore.

You can open your bios with ITK Framework edition. You can easily add HP string for SLP1.0 activation (win XP).

If you have a look at physical memory of ITK and if you have opened your bios, you can see that it is prepared for SLIC. (It's empty).

Do you see a SLIC shown at AcpiScope?

I guess not. Somebody has to figure out how to enable it and my idea is to write the modifications into physical memory directly.

After that we can try to rebuild bios (Save) it using ITK to hope the modifications are built in......

You see there is an approach, but it isn't realised yet.

So do you see a SLIC with AcpiScope? If yes I can give it a try. If not, we have to find the code to enable it. It would be easier to get a Intel bios which contains a fully mapped SLIC already to check how to enable it.

My knowledge is insufficient.:( And as you know it's dangerous to play with bios code.......

    Yen,

Yes, I can see SLIC table using AcpiScope as you can see in the image [removed], but it is virtual SLIC which created by Vista Loader using grldr. I deleted grldr and restarted my computer and I do not see SLIC table now.

I am going to contact Intel ITK support team about how can I add slic table using itk?

BTW can you tell me HP string for SLP1.0 activation win xp?

Sorry to bring an old thread back from the dead, but has there been any movement on this?

I have an Intel DP35DP. When I open the DP0572P.BIO file in a hex editor, it appears to be uncompressed -- I see lots of legible text strings scattered throughout the file. The DP0572.BIO file is in the Intel Integrator Toolkit BIOS files archive for DPP3510J.86A, sorry I can't post links with my post count.

I don't see a "SLIC" tab in the ACPI window in RW Everything 1.4, but I'm not sure if I'm looking in the right place.

Sorry, none of what you said makes much sense

Intel do not make OS, they make motherboard.

    BIOS can not be deleted

To get to the BIOS setup you normally press a key at startup:

    Del or F2 or F10

You should have a message on the screen saying Press XXX for BIOS Setup
