The reinstall VS repairing may have a difference. Like if it wasn't marked as tampered notifications and just notifications (and he didn't have rearms) it wouldn't give them possibly. Most of the time office can be repaired unless things are exceptionally broken or Murphy's law decides to be extra effective.

I think I have experienced Murphy's law regarding Office 2010

I liked the program very useful, so the family will continue to rearm hehe

Office 2010 activation seems to have been written according to it. I don't see windows get screwed up like Office 2010 does even if windows can get 8000700D errors.

It appears that IORRT works with MS Office 2010 Pro Plus, Visio and Project VLK versions in the Windows 7 Boot Camp and Parallels Virtual environments on MacBook Pro without issue according to testimonies by IORRT users

Can't imagine why it wouldn't as there really isn't anything that can go wrong if you already have the 1 needed rearm. I knew for sure it will work on any office 2010 product(s) since backup works on any office product configuration.

Should on Windows Boot Camp/VM. I doubt Office 2011 (Mac version of 2010) has KMS but I think it's activation is more forgiving. I don't know much about 2011 though.

    Hi Timesurfer,
So far so good, your work makes me smile, no crack just a clean script.
I don't know if it has been asked before, but it would be nice to have the script autorun after the Office 2010 installation. I could perhaps take out the install section from the script but before I screw something up, what would be the right way to do it?
I mean, install without user interaction?

    Cheers!

Yeah I know that, but the point is I'm making an unattended Office installation and at this point it still has to be executed manually. I have a cmd file that installs several apps after Windows install, so it would be nice to have IORRT referenced there so that it auto installs after office installation.
    Otherwise it works just fine.

I don't like intergrated/unnattended stuff. Just clicking A is soooo easy...lol You would spend more time intergrating it then you ever would clicking A  I think IORRT takes like 7 seconds to install and then it's done forever. You can't get much easier than that

    timesurfer and Darkor04.
You both should stay away from personal addressing. I'd appreciate if both of you give more room to each others..come one you both can handle that, can't you? ;)

I was wondering if IORRT 2.0 would work with the retail version of office.

Sorta but the nags come sooner than volume so I don't think so? Someone would have to test it in the days before it restores to see if nags come before IORRT restore but to just get on with it use volume edition!

Hey timesurfer, if I were to hide the IORRT folder in C:\ would everything work as normal in terms of the tasks & rearming, the reason I ask is a while back I hid the folder & booted back up & it didn't work, maybe I did something else wrong to cause it not to work, I dunno?

Anyway I just wanted your take on the matter :)

    Thanks ;)
