Windows 7, 8, 8.1, 2012, 2012 R2 are all valid. There is also a Linux version available @MDL running a KMS server. If you only want to activate a single machine, without a separate KMS host, there are several MDL threads.
Thank you! So, please, everybody, I'll go tonight install again Windons 8.1 Pro. Before I have a big trouble with Internet connection when I install W8.1 Pro. So, is this right procedure? : - Install W8.1 Pro (upgrade over W7 Ultimate) - Install KMS PICO 9 for activate W8.1 Pro and Office 2013 - Install TAP Driver Is that right?
Yes if the IP address is the same, the client computers should be none-the-wiser. This only works if you specified the ip address though... If you used a computer name like slmgr /skms MYKMSSYSTEM:1688 then it wouldn't work unless you renamed your computer to that.
(Someone please point me to the post if this is already answered.) I know how to start up a task and run it automatically according to a schedule (time/logon). That said, I have a marked preference for abbodi's KMS_VL_ALL. I found that running it requires the KMS Server emulator to be up and running at the same time ("obviously, duh."). My question is whether it makes sense to run the activator script AND emulator whenever I log in(would save me that bit of hassle once in six months, I'm incredibly lazy AND forgetful); if such an arrangement is pointless, what should I do instead? Any advice and/or suggestions, please do tell me. (Also, for those of you that have created such a setup: how do I tell the Task Scheduler to run the script as admin by default? The server emulator is an EXE so I can set it to run as an administrator through properties. Once I know how, I can think of exporting the task and possibly running it on multiple systems separately.) Thanks in advance for your help!
then remedy of this phobia without logon pill(script\schedule) is to set RenewalInterval to any value between 15-1440(1 day)... Code: under 2-KMS-Service.cmd set RenewalInterval="10080" change to set RenewalInterval="15" or set RenewalInterval="60" or set RenewalInterval="360"
I fully agree. abbodi140's script is very efficient and clean. I created a scheduled which starts every Monday. Nothing is polluting your PC : no service, no device, no connection (TAP is intalled and desintalled, but you can choose to install it definitively...). Just let the script execute automatically and you are ok for 180 days.
Heya, What does the script do after 180 days? Does it activates automatically again, do i need to update the script manualy, ...?
Guys, I have problem from yesterday. I installed W8.1 Pro, Office 2013, activated both with KMS PICO 9, and later I install the VPN TAP Driver. After all these installations I can't connect to Internet. Internet icon on right corner shows me that there is no Internet connection. The network card shows it works properly, ADSL router also shows the same, but the Internet can not. I removed the TAP driver, same thing. Again it installed, same thing. I should point out before I did the upgrade over W7 Pro, Internet connection it worked normally. Would anyone know where the problem is and what to do? Thanks so much for answers!
hei guys need some help, i tried to activate my office via the option with the tap connection, and now i cant enter the windows store and cant open windows updates :/ is it possible that this comes from the tap programm ?
