Hi everyone! I am trying to create a multiple-language Windows 11 installation media. I want it to be en-us, fr-fr and fr-ca. I managed to correclty inject the language pack in WinRE, boot.wim (both index) and change the setup option to have all language available. The tricky part is the Windows OS itself. Idem for some parts of the Settings pannel (not the control pannel) are in english until I do some updates. Am I missing some packages? Is there anything special to do ? Thanks!
UWP apps are not translated by the LP's. This is been discussed and solved here, in that scenario the settings app wouldn't even open: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/solved-slipstream-lps.82628/page-2 Use a 22000.1 source and first integrate the LP stuff and next update it, like W10MUI does too. Can you show a screenshot of the settings app? and what languages are integrated? And a tip, use a french ISO for source, when you integrate en-US in, all, including UWP stuff, should be translated, at least that's what worked for nl-NL with en-US LPs integrated.
I don't have any snapshot before the post install update, so I would have to recreate one for the screen shot. I remember the part about "Your Phone" was in english until updated and rebooted. The source is already 22000.1. I integrated the LP first Then the other packages. If I understand what you say, I should use the FR-FR or FR-CA ISO and add EN-US in it and not the opposite ?
