I have a FSC L1718 with Vista home premium on it. I guess there is something in the BIOS which works like the mods here.

Is there a programme to copy my existing BIOS? and if so would this pre modded BIOS be any help to anyone.

I know with the Fujitsu laptops that the model numbers stay constant but do have many different hardware specs (faster CPU's, more RAM and bigger HDD etc) but they also ship with XP pre-installed and Vista pre-installed.

If this would be useful, let me know (with what I need to do) and I'll try and help

Yes it is the Fujitzu SLIC (Software Licensing Internal Code) located in the bios and the corresponding certificate on your oem DVD / tokens.dat.

We already have got them to do a FSC mod.

Thanks a lot anyway for offering your help!;)
