thx Tito I have tried using DCCU with no luck. I might have a possible way but I need a link to T610 bios. Sent a pm to glxatmdl hoping he can provide one. NVM Tito got it.
Ive updated to the A51 Bios. But now Wireless and Bluetooth and Ethernet do not work. Works on the old A05 Dell Bios
For Ethernet, you need to “disable” it in the BIOS…it’s mentioned in the readme file. Not sure why you don’t have wireless support though.
hello, it seems that i have a "skill issue" as i have installed the a51 bios on my x300 d610, sadly i do not have acces to a usb floppy drive for bios recovery. BUT i have been able to boot into windows xp (and turn on narrator because the laptop is legaly blind) and run the a06 bios updator exe (d610_a06.exe), sadly it seems that downgrading is disabled for the exe file and/or bios. is there a custom exe file that would enable me to downgrade/recover in windows? i know this is for a 21 year old laptop but any help would be apreciated.
I would really recommend getting a USB floppy and putting the extract D610 BIOS HDR file on it named "AZEDA06.HDR". See if you can run the D610 BIOS EXE file with the option "/forceit". The only other way is to make a DOS bootable CD and execute the D610 BIOS EXE file with the option "/forceit".
