    Also wondering this. I assume Windows RT can only be updated via the Windows Store?

    Then again, how would one reinstall Windows RT on a corrupt tablet? USB recovery tool?

    Because you're not supposed to be able to... reinstall fresh.

    I'm sorry but I just hate it when idiot people use leaked software... they always ask the stupidest questions..

    I have not found even an 8 ISO for RT, but 8 has a refresh and reinstall feature, so I guess that's how they expect you to fix it

    Upgrade with key in OP and then change the key to your genuine one and activate once installed

    Now I am curious, where is it stated that it shouldn't work?

    Arrggg. I have missed that he tries to activate two different SKU's. I thought he wanted activate w8.1 with the w8 key assuming the same version used...


    To activate w8.1 works! But only the same SKU!!!!
