Absolutely dislike the newer Stardock crap. Like the way StartIsBack is working, without adding a service or process. Never faced any inconvenience with it.

Has anyone had luck getting the win 8 store working on this build? The method used for 9364 doesn't appear to be working.

 

can someone post any differences in this build apart from official MS win8 other than it being a new build number?

 

They simply moved most of the stuff around most of the codes still there its just not being read by Startisback it will be fixed shortly just like old start8 didn't work start8 1.15 does.

 

Think Windows 7 --> Windows 7 SP1, with a few interface tweaks, it's effectively what Windows 8 'Blue' is to Windows 8.

what? 9899? We're currently at 9397/9398.

 

That jump in number wouldn't make sense unless there is some other change going on. If this is the case, the change is anyone's guess, could be compiling with different version of software, inclusion of AVX2 etc support/code, or any other number of things. Then again, there might not be much difference at all, especially since what Microsoft has done lately hardly rates as making sense (UI changes, making everything bland etc).
