    I am having a problem right here when trying to mimic your x61 2.16 bios mod.

    I know I'm using the right offsets, but for some reason yours (premodded) at 2F457D it's 67 while mine is B0.

    Can you tell me what I'm doing wrong?

    EDIT:
    Forgot to mention after I run PBE at this point it says ROM error and doesn't run. The filesize didn't change, like you said in your directions.

    I've skipped the part to mod BIOSCOD3.ROM. The OEM table and tableID at original bios is named

    The 7N SLIC is available, so no need to change.

    Need Help

    I got a old IBM Thinkpad T20 and I cant boot it because of the unknown Passwords.
    I think both passwords are set, but unknown.

    Is there any way to remove them?

    You should always try the original bios before you'll flash the modded one.

    If 2.16 is right for you I suggest to you to use the 2.16 mod.

    I'm newer on this forum ,just succeed in modifying VMWare BIOS after read some of posts here ,its awesome,so trying to mod my ThinkCentre A50 desktop,ready for dead but hope it does not:)
