See attachment. I went to "ACPI" then "save all".

T400 BIOS 3.01 (latest). No Windows was preinstalled on this machine. Cannot see any SLIC or SLIX in either your tool or everest.

Would i have to mod every new bios that comes out in order to get a SLIX table, or is it a one-time addition to my laptop?

    capture bios

Is the only difference between SLIC 2.0 AND 2.1 the HEX
    20 00 00 00 00
    20 01 00 02 00
    ?

If so, if I have a 2.0 SLIC bios, can I simply change this?
Better yet, if I upload it, can you? LOL

EDIT: ok, I just compared the CB-01 2.0 and 2.1 SLIC... this is NOT the only difference. I attached them for others to view.

Also, is there a way to correctly capture a bios from a computer with SLIC so that the backed-up file has the SLIC included?
For instance, my computer came from LENOVO with SLIC 2.0. Can I capture (backup) this bios and the back-up.rom.wph.whatever have the SLIC included?

No error messages during lset.exe procedure
(1st /m (check for slic), then /c clear and /m again (check for slic))
just clearing..... then lset - , then back to command prompt.

    at rw-everything i got
"Access violation of address 005112DE in module 'RW.exe'. Read of address 00000000."
    whenever i press acpi button.

    Winphlash

Winphlash is included with nearly every BIOS update from Lenovo. There are some download links in previous posts, please give it a try. ;)

    Just to get this clearly
    You have used the command:
    lset /m marker.bin

    Right?

    not
    lset /m

If not please re-try using NEW MARKER.BIN Version 2.1!!!
Attached here....get attachement, expand marker.bin, EXCHANGE it with OLD marker.bin, boot to DOS and re-try....
