It's OK, the best way to 'disable' a previous SLIC is to rename it to SLAC. If vista is still activated, everything is fine. You have to wait for W7 serials and certificate. We all have to wait for them. The Chinese mod doesn't rename your old SLIC assuming there is no SLIC at all. If you have got 2 SLICs W7 / Vista doesn't activate. SLAC is undefined and doesn't harm. Official OEM bioses are using SLIX to hide their SLIC, I use SLEC or SLAC! Vista is still activated, isn't it?

i boot to DOS usb lset.exe /m marker.bin (press enter) Writing MarkerFile... Lset - Reboot and looked for SLIC also tried lset.exe /c clear (press enter) Clearing... Lset - and next command again lset.exe /m marker.bin (press enter) Writing MarkerFile... Lset - Reboot i've tried the new marker. same procedure checked everest slix: unknown rw-everything clicked acpi button got error message "Access violation at address 005112DE in module 'Rw.exe'. Read of 00000000"

This are the Lset commands: (tool is made to activate SLIC at Lenovo Insyde bios) lset command option (case sensitive) /r - display current setting of platform /m <markerfile> - write slp20 Markerfile /w <file> - write setting /v <file> - verify setting /c clear - clear all setting /l lock - Lock setting /u <password> - Unlock setting What shows lset /r Try to play with them.... Try: lset (hit enter) /c (hit enter) /m marker.bin (hit enter)
Yen about the x200 tablet slic 2.1 mod you made is working perfect. I install vista sp2 to test and is activated just fine, so i think the same when release windows 7 OEM file's and key's.. Thanks for your work it is so easy for you
Lenovo T60 - SLIC21(TC-5M) I have flashed and tested a Lenovo T60 with the new SLIC21 and Vista is still activated no problems. I also looked at the SLIC with RW everything and I saw the OEM ID changed from TP-79 to TC-5M. Thanks again for the 2.0 mod from before & the current 2.1, Maru_7711
