no, there is only one of each... the name change is the difference between them... if you have a cb-01 slix then you can follow the instructions to the tee... if you had another slix, ie tp-79, then you would have to find/make a tp-79 SLP2MARK.bin. follow the directions on the thread and post there... i'm sure they can help you more than i can and they would love to hear of your results
Thanks a lot for the information, I'm very new to these BIOS modding things, so I'm still not 100% if I have a CB-01 slix that can use those instructions. On the first page of this thread, second post, you've posted a lot of BIOS mods, I notice there are some CB-01s, and they require direct BIOS modification? Thanks again.
I noticed that on the original post the S10/S9 bios is now available for the newest released bios from Lenovo. Edit: After flashing with the supposed "14CN94WW" (Rev 94 bios) I can confirm this is NOT the newest bios, but still Revision 59 as linked to previously in this thread Both the 14CN59WW available a few pages back and the 14CN94WW in the original post have the same exact time stamp on the files.. meaning they were just simply renamed. Oh well... Ill still keep my fingers crossed
What are the noews on the no-1082 for the R60 94xx? Has it been included since your post, or are you using your modded version? If so, sorry for going of topic, how, did you do it? Or how can i get my hands on your modded files?
May i ask a question? My TP T400 came with no OS (student edition). RW Everything did not find a SLIC or SLIX table at all. I thought the SLIC is in the bios - therefore the moment i had done a bios update, should the included SLIC 2.0 not have been added to my laptop? Or is there a marker in the BIOS update, that tells the new bios to NOT add a slic, since my PC did not come with a preinstalled OS? In that case, if lenovo releases an official T400 slic2.1 bios update, will i still have to use a modded version each time they update the bios? Would be thankful for clarification. I'd prefer the official lenovo bios, but if the slic part does not get flashed on my laptop i guess i have no choice. Maybe someone else has a Thinkpad that came with no OS and can clear this up. Thanks.
