    I'm not able to update my x61's bios using winPhlash. I select the Biosmod.rom and when I try to click on advanced settings, winphlash just crashes. Any reason why this would be happening? I am running as administrator. I for the life of me cannot find any other lenovo bios updating utility. Please help

    hi,

    Witch version of WinPhlash are you using, 32bits or WinPhlash64, and what is your platform, XP, VISTA, WINDOWS7, 32bits, 64bits?

    is there some other program I can use other than WinPhlash? It seems to keep crashing.

    I'm running 64bit win 7. I can't tell whether the winPhlash I have is 32 or 64. It's version 1.7.16.0. It starts, but crashes.
