    I have a R500, trying to remove the whitelist to allow install of different wifi card...anyone have a guide on how to do this? I create bios rom using phoenixtool and check to remove manufacturer locks but still get 1802 error. Does anyone by chance have the lenovo marker tool R500-TP-7Y.zip? It's for R500 bios 7yuj39u6. Thanks.

    ignore previous post...i got it going, simply ticked off allow user to edit other modules and then used phnxpatch on the BIOSCODx.ROM files, got my patched BIOSCOD6.ROM and flashed bios, voila, working with new card now!
