You didn't flash from 64bit OS since you've booted to DOS and have run aflash3 from DOS...I guess that's the point Maru_7711 wanted to say... You've flashed from pure DOS!!! Btw: There are different ways to successfully apply the mod.... 1) to flash from 32 bit OS 2) to flash from DOS... Enjoy the mod.
Dude, reading is hard isn't it? As I said before and any Lenovo user can know, the Lenovo Windows Flash tool doesn't flash an older or the same version that has allready been flashed! That's why I couldn't use the Lenovo Windows Flash tool to flash the modded bios. That doesn't make the geek right since I used that flash tool, that according to him doesn't work in x64 Windows to flash 1.25 over my 1.24 on Windows 7 x64!!!! I used pure dos and a modded Lenovo bios cd file kit because the phlash64/phlash15 that's pointed out in THIS thread to be used to flash the modded bios versions DOESN'T work! Somehow someone here made it a lame ass bs discussion on flashing not working on x64 which it does! Just not with the modded bios files I tried and phlash64. phlash16 didn't want to flash the same modded bios files btw. BTW thanks, I am enjoying the mod
People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. He wrote 'I must....' not 'YOU must'....also he referred to the mod.... Btw: You should never forget that most of us are non English natives. I and Maru_7711 wanted to help you. Statements like the above may sound disrespectful......also the 'lame ass BS discussion.....' that is only happening in YOUR mind!
For someone that's obviously very sensitive You sure don't mind offending do you. Btw English is not my native language either! Perhaps you should read before you start bashing me as I'm the one that found a workable solution. Not the mimic who, so it seems, can only repeat what he thinks he saw or did see somewhere. As for being disrespectful, well, I asked for help. Bs doesn't help so I figured it out myself. If pointing out that bs is bs than I'm definitely disrespectful. If pointing out that bs is bs is not disrespectful, then my dear pall, you are disrespectful
OMG!today I saw the Marker for TP in a BBS! And I test it, that's a really really a true tool!!it is crazy today!
The most important thing is that you've got a working mod. And finally you've found your way to flash it, which is the best one for you. Basically it doesn't matter that we have different views about different matters....if all individuals would have the same opinions, the world would be boring.
Could you post it? I'm still looking for a TP-7T marker file if anyone has it, or knows where to get it from..
Thanks Revival. A question for the experts: Is it likely there will ever be a TP-7T marker file released? I am wondering; if the TP-7T is no longer in production, is there any reason for there to ever be a marker file? Given that there may never be a TP-7T laptop shipped with Windows 7 OEM installed, is it possible there will never be a SLP marker file? I'm not quite sure what the OEM table id refers to, and what rules determine which one has a marker file released or not, or even where these marker files come from Hopefully someone better informed can give me an insight?
Hi ancestor, appreciate your effort. My TP is T60 (2007B14), which does not have SLIC originally. I have flashed the bios to a cracked 2.23 ver with SLIC 2.1, but I still want the LENOVO bin file with SLIC 2.1 that can be marked to bios with tool "Marker". Is there this kind of file for this old machine?
The mod is working for 64 bit AND 32 bit OS. Anyway the provided winphlash to flash the mod is working at 32 bit OS only. Therefore I suggest to boot a 32 bit OS and flash the mod.
Yen now, I must first download x32 OS Windows7, and then run winphlash. On Notebooku I now x64 bit OS Win7, but not okay for the flash. I also understand .... Thanks!
