The tutorial works with every Lenovo bios no matter what size. If you modify a module in a slightly different way (just one byte different) the compressed code will be different....anyway the mod can work.

Moded bios for Lenovo T60 succefully installed Hy everybody! Today I installed moded bios by Yen for T60(non widescreen) on my notebook T60 Type 2007-55G. Succefully activated my win 7 ultimate using new lenovo slp key. Before update with moded bios I use original bios 79uj30us, from lenovo web site, because initialy I have updated my bios with 79uj32us. When would be avaible an moded version for 79uj32us (2.25)?! Thank you Yen for the wonderfull work!
RE: Lenovo IdeaPad Y530 BIOS Mod Request I was not able to get the marker.exe tool v0.08 to work. When I ran it with the /CLRMARKER switch it came back saying that the marker was already removed and the operation was not completed. When I ran the /SETMARKER switch it told me that the marker already existed and the operation was not completed - I even tried several versions of the marker, same thing. When running the /CHKMARKER switch, it comes back saying the marker does not exist. Using SLIC Dump in Windows shows that I still have SLIC 2.0. I wanted to try the marker.exe tool v0.09 but wasn't able to find it, I guess I'll be sticking with Vista for now. @leakviper I flashed the laptop with the 10CN43WW revision BIOS from the Chinese site, while it is a slightly newer BIOS it does not contain the 2.1 SLIC - it's still 2.0.
