    6FET83WW or 7VET83WW one is for t500 and one for w500 version..I don't know ..

    It's always kinda exciting....have flashed my pc more than 20 times already to test new ideas....still alive...pulse is still raising while flashing..it must have been a long time to you... 8MByte bios and verify block after programming... ;)

    Default Lenovo T60/p Biosmod 79ETE6WW (2.26) - Report

    This is the Lenovo BIOS CD method. Please note when using the Lenovo CD the BIOS version on the CD must be different than the installed version. Currently, I am using the 2.25 biosmod made by Yen from October 2009.

    I did the upgrade [from Yen's 2.25 biosmod already installed] DIRECTLY using the biosmod CD 2.26 with no troubles whatsoever. This was a personal risk I wanted to try in 1 step. I would not do this w/o a current warranty !!!

    The recommended way would be to downgrade to the original 2.23 bios, remove the unauthorized wifi card, upgrade with the biosmod 2.26 CD then put back the wifi card (4 steps).

    Yen, I thank you for the extra work for fixing the checksum files in the image to make the CD way even possible & for your generosity again. Success ! Excellent !
