The bioses are all the same if the version matches, no matter what OS it's just the way to flash it. At the ISO the bios is usually compressed and the sums have to be corrected since the dos flasher checks for it. Just use my provided archive...or...
Lenovo IdeaPad Y530 BIOS without whitelist? Hello, I'm looking for Lenovo IdeaPad Y530 BIOS without whitelist (Lenovo accepts only WiFi cards they sell with their laptops). Is it possible to find modded BIOS anywhere? Or it's possible to edit BIOS with some tool to remove "No Supported Wireless Adapters" message after using non-Lenovo miniPCIE WiFi adapter? I have Y530 with AMI BIOS 10CN46WW (228) dated on 09.29.2009 - I think there is no any downloadable version on Lenovo pages, so I can't provide a link... thanks for any help! Yackoo
Is it a Phoenix bios? If yes there is no way to save a backup (that could be modded and reflashed).... Only 'thing' that could work is to apply the lenovo marker tools to enable a SLIC2.1. Then I guess you have to find an biosupdate....or a compatible one of another model... Or it's an amibios? Is there a flastool found at bios setup, called EZFlash (Advanced ->Start Easy Flash).... A AMI bios can be backuped...and I could try to insert a new adapter ID (therefore I need to know the vendor and device ID of the adapter...) Ez flash could backup it or (DOS) using afudos /o <filename> command...
