    Hello Yen,
    I have new cards ID:
    PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_4328&SUBSYS_000A1028&REV_03
    PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_4328&SUBSYS_000A1028
    PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_4328&CC_028000
    PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_4328&CC_0280

Current card is Intel 5100 AGN:
    PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_4237&SUBSYS_12118086&REV_00
    PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_4237&SUBSYS_12118086
    PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_4237&CC_028000
    PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_4237&CC_0280

Could you finally prepare BIOS for my Lenovo Y530?

btw: there is interesting thing, BIOS checks only slot 1 and doesn't allow to replace whitelisted card with other, but doesn't block using of another WiFi card in slot 2. It's look like whitelist is only needed to switch on/off WiFi & BT via function keys & Lenovo tool...

    thx
    Yackoo

So the ID's were right. What is the difference between Y330, Y530 and Y730 model?
I'm asking because there is a bios update for Ideapad Y730, Y330, U330.. I wonder why it's not for Y530....

I'll make the mod ASAP since I'm waiting for andyP's PM (I had a question about his tool and have told him about the mod) and will have a look at the other bios to see what's different. And I'll of course replace an ID you don't use....I could clearly locate all the white listed ID's so I'm sure I have found the whitelist itself....to flash the mod will be the final step...

I have to thank you. I was quite sure the mod method is safe. Anyway you were the pioneer in testing it. It was a dumped bios and it uses a new compression algorithm...
It is a great step forward to know that andy's tool is fantastic in rebuilding unsigned EFI. I have got new insights. Therefore thank you for your trust in our bios modding..

Enjoy your new card. Without guys like you that are pioneers we bios modder wouldn't go any step forwards...;)
