    because mpv runs faster than vlc, clean, and for my use (watching movies, series and some mp3) is perfect.
    i just don't need the many option that vlc offers. ;)

    try RoboCopy, it comes with Windows.
    mt command line switch is for multi thread.
    there are various gui for it.

    I like CopyFile (sourceforge) too, it has nicer UI than most commercial-copy programs (such as teracopy),
    also Locate32 (sourceforge as well) which I've used since forever, and recently found out it can run in a portable mode where the settings get stored ini files.

    If you run their platform you can get it also.
